We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable; lots of privacy as well. The owners are very nice people. They showed us a nearby waterfall (walking distance) where you can swim. Stavanger and the coast are nearby (30-45 min by car). Highly recommended.

We had a great time in Flatdal and the hosting was beyond expectations! The cabin was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and simple kitchen. We got lovely weather and grilled outside until the sunset! It was not lacking in hospitality and helpfulness from Asbjørn and Gunhild, we thank you so warmly for your stay!

Checked out after a few days in the annex of Lise. Everything was as described and out from the photos. Lise and her husband were very pleasant and accommodating with local tips. Very convenient with access to the kindergarten's outside area, only for ourselves 🤩 Thanks for us 😊

Communication with Ingrid was extremely friendly and inquiries were responded to quickly and openly. The cabin is really very cute and the ladder into the bedroom has now reached cult status. :D Pure relaxation and the outdoor shower was not a problem at all. The location right by the fjord is fantastic.

Siri and Johan were wonderful hosts. Even before we arrived, Siri provided us with information and tips, Johan greeted us personally, although we didn't arrive until just before 10 pm. The cottage is small but has everything you need, so we immediately felt comfortable. The close location to Preikestolen was great, the view from the terrace was indescribably beautiful. We really enjoyed the time at the cottage

Idyllic place and a pleasant host. The apartment was well equipped. A terrace with outdoor furniture would have been nice to dispose of when the weather allows it. No opportunities for a trip on the sea this time when the boat/ engine had to have a service. Would love to come back late. Kind regards, Roald Kvalvågnes.

Amazing host! The place is exactly how its describe. The place is very easy to find and its near to everything we need (grocery store and beautiful hiking spots). We had a great experience and will definitely come back if we’re here again.

Fantastic location so close to the water. Hildegunn and family were friendly and helpful. The accommodation suited us very well and we enjoyed using the pizza oven too. Lillesand is a pretty and well served town with some great places to eat out.

We spent 3 nights at Frank's cabin in Easter 2025. Great little cottage with all necessary amenities. Everything was clean and tidy. Short distance to Farsund, Loshavn, Vanse and Lista Lighthouse. A place in a rural setting we can really recommend.

The area is so beautiful and wild - and deserted when you get out on the mountain. We hiked to Lauvnesknuten. We met one person on the entire trip and it was on the gravel road before we turned onto the trail. The walk up there is so nice, the trail is good, the last climb a little steep, but it's worth it when you reach the top. The view is indescribably beautiful. Definitely recommended - a little too many private things, so there's no room for guests' things, especially in the bathroom and bedroom We'd love to come again

One of the nicest places we've ever been to. The view is indescribable! We didn't want to leave. Unfortunately, we only booked two nights - far too short. You can walk to the center, and a supermarket is even closer. The kitchen is superbly equipped and has everything you need. We were allowed to even help ourselves to the plum tree in front of the house😍. The hiking areas are quickly accessible and totally worthwhile. Everything was great with baby (8 months), the apartment was very child-friendly (bed and high chair). We'll have to come back sometime. We came down like this, it was really great!!

This place was super cozy, clean and beautiful! We spent New Years here and was the best time ever! Knut Olav is super kind and responsive. We had a great time there- The location is perfect! There are hills around to go sledding and its close to both Hovden and Haukeli ski resorts! Perfect cabin! We definitely will come back 🤩🩷

In 2022 we were at Solsiden for the first time and it is a great place to be. The house is very nice and complete and a wonderful view at the sea. Arendal is a very good place to stay and this year we took our elektrik bikes with us. And in the stay of 2 weeks we nearly made 400 kilomters by bike. Solveig and Per are the best hosts you can find. We hope that we can come back again.

A truly beautiful stay in the most breathtaking location. A real wild Norwegian experience in the cosiest home. Amazing hot tub with views over the rolling hills and a cosy log burner with plenty of logs provided!

We stayed with two children (6/9) for 5 days in Rauland with Jostein. The place was exactly as described. The house was clean and the amenities left nothing to be desired. The view over the entire valley was stunning. Beds are very cozy. The, from our point of view, other highlights are the hot tub and pizza oven on the terrace. The communication with Jostein was great. The host answers quickly and is very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place.
