Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

Welcome to a small and cozy cabin on a farm by the lake. On the farm we have six suckling cows. During the summer months they graze around the house. The cabin has a small kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. In the living room there is a sofa bed that sleeps two. And in the bedroom there are also two beds. An excellent place for those who want to experience Sørlandet, or just need a place to sleep for a night or two. A cabin that has both forest, sea and lake close by.
