Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Unique house - barn from the 18th century converted into a residential house. Historical details in walls, furniture and fixtures - combined with modern comfort. Location centrally on Rauland; one of southern Norway's most beautiful ski and high mountain areas. Short distance to Lake Totak and Rauland's beautiful mountain areas and ski resorts. The house is located in a peaceful courtyard, but still close to the city center; only 3 minutes by car. Ideal starting point for trips, summer and winter. Suitable for families and small groups. Cozy little holiday home

Centrally located in Valle Municipality. Approx. 1 km to the city center. Facilities in the house: Child-friendly, Wi-Fi, SmartTV with BT soundbar Heat pump, fireplace (wood in the garage) Toilet, shower, dishwasher, Stove, coffee maker, fridge, freezer ++ Cleaning is done by you as the tenant. Must bring towels and bed linen yourself (1.50 double bed and 1.80 double bed). In summer, it is a good idea to bring your own drinking water due to well water. We drink from the fountain the rest of the year. You can boil the water if you are in doubt.

The accommodation is located only 2 minutes drive from Tonstad city center, but in a quiet and established neighborhood. 5 minutes drive to Feed Skiarena and 10 minutes drive to Bjørnstad ski center (alpine). 40 minutes drive to Sinnes and Sirdal ski center. Tonstadbadet is 5 minutes away. Lots of great hiking opportunities in the area. The house has great views of Tonstad, with comfort, privacy and proximity to everything you need - whether you are on a weekend trip, holiday or business trip Bed linen and towels can be ordered additionally.

Very special and completed log house in Setesdal style. The house has shoreline towards Otra and spectacular views of Reiårsfossen waterfall which is close by. Make a good dinner in the large kitchen in the house or see if the kids dare to swim in the slightly cold river. Take the car up or down Setesdalen and visit various action attractions or experience the view and silence up the hill. In the evening you can enjoy birds singing and sleep in built-in, rose-painted beds. NB: We usually arrange flexible check-in and check-out!
