Cabin is 10 feet by 12 feet, therefore not suitable for children.

Cozy Alaska yurt - Full bathroom

Experience the Alaska lifestyle in our cozy, ON-grid yurt. Nestled a short walk up the hillside, you'll be serenaded by squirrels and can watch the trees rustling overhead from your new firm memory foam bed. Far from "roughing it", this yurt has all the amenities: hot and cold running (drinkable) water, electricity, a full kitchen and a shower. There is a composting toilet inside the yurt, but if you'd like to stick to a "normal" toilet, there is also a shared restroom near the parking area.

Woof, hi, I’m Kobuk the Saint Bernard! Welcome to my log cabin! It’s super cozy, away from the downtown hustle-bustle, and a short walk to the beautiful 16-mile Lost Lake Trail, where I love to hike, wade in streams, and roll in snow. My dog-friendly cabin is in a popular all-season adventure spot for mountain/snow bikers, trail runners, backcountry/cross-country skiers, and snowmachiners. Pack your gear and come on over! We even have room for parking boats and snowmachine trailers.

Built in the late 1930's, Moosewood Cabin offers clean, comfortable, and cozy authentic Alaskan lodging for two. A great place to base your Seward, Alaska adventures. Summer 2026 will be our 28th season of offering Seward visitors a great place to rest after a full day of exploring the Seward Area.
