“Maria and Gleb's place is absolutely amazing. There is a parking spot right outside the separate entrance, and the basement suite has many amenities. The place is very clean and stylish and even has a projector that you can set up your laptop with to play movies! Kitchen has all the basics, and it has a fridge with a small freezer compartment. Bedroom has a nice desk and a large walk in closet, and ironing equipment was there to keep my dress shirts pressed. Maria and Gleb were fantastic and very helpful. They were always very quick with responses and were very helpful. Overall amazing stay!”
Located 10 minutes to the restored Kinsol Trestle, 1 minute walk to public trail to beautiful Shawnigan Lake, Hiking Trails, Cobble Hill Mountain, Parks & Trails, Arena, Marina’s and Arbutus Ridge Golf Course. Quaint coffee shops and home made style meals at local restaraunts. All about a 2.5 km short walking distance away. 3 International private schools in the area. Plenty of spaces for roaming from prayer to painting to cycling to hiking to reading and quiet time.
“Amazing accommodation. Super host Sarah was so very hospitable. Returned every email promptly, communicated effectively. Great interpersonal skills, I can see why her and Lance are super hosts. Amenities were too many to list, one request would be a coffee bean grinder, other than that this little delight has it all. We often stay for short periods of time in AirB&B on the island. We will definitely choose here first if it’s available. Sarah is not just a great hostess, she is a good friend now also. Sincerely, Monique 😘❤️🙏”
Quiet property, shared with a gentle old horse, named Chip. Close to the lake and a 3 minute drive to the Cowichan Trail, connecting to the historic Kinsol Trestle, for hiking or cycling.
“Mary Lou and Glen are amazing. They make you feel like you are family. They went above and beyond for us. The pictures of the loft do not do it justice. It is amazing. When we were sitting out on the deck having a beer we felt like we were in a tree house. So quiet, except for Chip (the horse). Felt like we were in the middle of nature. It is only 2.8 km from the exit point on the cowichan Valley Trail, which mad it appealing for us, as well as we could only stay one night. We will be back in the near futer for a get away. Truly amazing. Great value for money as well. I will also add that Sarpinos delivers there and the pizza was great.”
