Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. A short trail will take you there. Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

The Woodshed

Nestled among towering trees in Jordan River, BC, Woodshed is a serene wellness retreat designed for rest and renewal. Natural wood, clean lines, and expansive windows immerse you in the coastal forest. Unwind in a cedar sauna or hot tub after exploring nearby beaches, surf breaks, and scenic hikes. Warm, minimal, and calming—where forest sounds and ocean air create space to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with nature.

Coastal Garden Guest Suite

The guest suite features a private entrance with a bed, kitchenette and a bathroom in the first room. A small bodywork studio next to it can be used for more sleeping space, and the den next to it features a woodstove and 2 more sofa beds. There is a covered deck with a BBQ, a fire pit, a hot tub, sauna, and a shower/steam room outside. The yard is very private so you can enjoy yourselves at all hours.
