Conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also cater for group trips, family holidays, and multi-night to long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay even for consecutive nights. While you can get here by public transport, it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are travelling by train, there may not be a taxi available at the station, so we recommend planning your transport in advance. Free transfers are available from Akashina Station and Shinanomatsukawa Station.We can arrange paid transfers to Matsumoto Station, Nagano Station, the Sawando Bus Terminal, and other locations upon request.

Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period.It was built in 1931 in this town, which has been designated a preservation district for traditional buildings and still has many lacquerware shops. Our house is available for one group per day, without meals, and as a whole house rental.It takes a little time to get around, and there are no supermarkets or convenience stores in this area, but I think that's why this place has a quietness and a casual, simple beauty to everyday life.It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in the old houses in the valleys between the mountains, so in the warmer seasons, wildlife may come in.The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail.We are preparing to welcome you as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart. We use the accommodation fees we receive from guests to repair the building, and I would like to start by taking care of this wonderful house for about 20 years so that it can be passed on to the next generation.

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you ！

Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
