A really cozy summerhouse close to the water and with lots of charm

We loved our stay at Martins place, and took advantage of great features like the hot tub, fire pit, and proximity to the Fjord. We were 13 people (the max of the property). Although there were enough beds, the downside was some other aspects (especially the small under counter fridge, and no freezer) were not really big enough for 13 people, especially over 4 days. Something to keep in mind if looking for a place for a large group. However, we had perfect weather and the garden is fantastic so we had lots of space in that sense. Martin was also super helpful and responsive.

We felt very comfortable and the house was very cozy and your great accommodation on 4 stormy and rainy days. The house and the kitchen are really equipped with everything! For 10 people it is perfect, the road to the house is not paved, so who has a car with four-wheel drive should arrive quietly with it. :) Thank you for the great time!

Brigitte is a wonderful hostess! Very, very attentive, friendly and with a lot of style. As a welcome, she not only left nice lines for us, but also prepared cool drinks and nuts for us to nibble on. The house is beautiful. With lots of loving details, without losing the famous Danish taste. I wish I had such a sense of interior design! The house is very quiet and private behind the fjord dike, where you can take a wonderful little walk in the evening. The surroundings have a lot of opportunities for exploration. For couples as well as for families with children. Brigitte as hostess, the blue pearl of the house and the area are recommended without restriction!

We've spent nearly 2 weeks at this cozy summer house in a friendly neighborhood. The house matches the description and photos of the listing and the hosts are responsive and friendly. We've enjoyed the house and the beautiful garden very much! It is very peaceful and quiet. A yard in which you can relax on the deck and spend evenings under the stars by the fire pit. A place to listen to the birds, watch the squirrels and especially the daily visits of deer were magnificent! We've watched the sunset at the beach, went on hikes, visited castles and of course Copenhagen. Plenty activities to keep you busy and a cozy house to come home to and relax.

This time there were four of us traveling and we had our animals with us – a dog and a cat. There was enough room for all of us. Check-in went well (mini safe with key). The owner gave recommendations on using the equipment. Kitchen - You can cook - there is everything you need for it. A very warm fireplace, a washing machine – everything was great. A small problem (temporary internet failure) was fixed immediately – the owner called the supplier and everything worked again immediately. Definitely recommend!!!

I had a really lovely stay at Tiny Søhøj. Kirsten is an incredibly helpful host who responds quickly. So everything was as it should be. The area and nature around is absolutely great for hiking in and it's easy to get to the place from Hvalsø station with flextransport if you don't have a car. I can only recommend: -)

We stayed at Mortens place for five days and we felt at home from day one. For those looking for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle - this area is highly recommended. This house is suitable for people preferring a cozy stay indoor as well as for people who love outdoor activities suck as walking, bird watching etc. My kids particularly enjoyed the zip line and trampoline set outside the house. Morten was very easy to communicate with which made the whole process so easy. Further Orø is a small and beautiful island with some very nice and social people with a great community spirit. Overall we give our highest recommendation to this place. BW, Justin & Family

Very nice area, great for walking. The house is very cozy. We saw a few deer in the yard, that was nice. I’m not sure there was enough towels for everyone but we brought our own, so that was not a problem.

Grandios! We had a wonderful turn of the year at Tove and Erik's log cabin, they were really perfect days. We were able to walk along the picturesque coast, enjoy nature, jump into the winter sea and warm up by the fire afterwards. The house is very, very cozy and super equipped. The fire kept us warm in January. Erik was always available, flexible and friendly, communication with him was absolutely straightforward. We can fully recommend the log cabin - a gem! - and would definitely like to come back soon. Thank you for everything, dear Tove, dear Erik! Maria & Rune

The living area of the house is great. You feel right at home. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook like at home. The view from the house and from the terrace is breathtakingly beautiful. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is very quiet. A few houses down the stairs to the beach and take wonderful walks there. If you're looking for peace, this is the place to be! The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes away in the next place. Klavs was always available and very friendly. There were fresh flowers and juices on arrival.

we had a great holiday in Denmark from this cottage. Cottage is located in a dead end street where almost no car comes. We saw 2x the ice coman pass by in the little street. The cottage has good facilities and everything worked properly. Like many others, we also saw deer passing by in the garden, which was quite special for us Dutch people. Contact with Henrik went very well via the messages. The nearby beach is very quiet, a little further is Stillinger beach, there are some eateries and it is a bit busier.

We (4 people) stayed a few days over new year's eve and had a absolutely great time. We like to cook and in the kitchen was everything you usually need. The house is very well and practically equipped with an eye for details. The way to the beach was short and the hottub afterwards was perfect in the cold winter weather. We felt really at home, thanks again for sharing your beautiful home!

The five of us felt very comfortable in the very cozy and tastefully furnished summer house. The large, well-kept garden invites you to play and linger. Communication with Anders was great. Unfortunately, the activities in the area are very rare and were always associated with some driving.

We had a lovely time at Henrik's cabin. Especially the large garden, the location close to the beach and the washing machine were worth gold with a toddler. The cabin gets very warm on sunny days but has air conditioning. But we got along without it and just ventilated it. The bedrooms have screens and the neighbors were very nice. Henrik always responded quickly to inquiries and we were very happy to have been there!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful beach house, the sunsets are unique and thanks to direct access you can enjoy the beach and sea at any time after a few steps, everything was perfect, happy to come back ☺️
