Monthly Rentals in Sololá Department

Had a great stay here. Gorgeous view and super helpful hosts with very clear check in instructions. The place is small but has everything you need. The hot water wasn’t working when I stayed which wasn’t too much of an issue, but I still received a partial refund which was super nice. Dogs are quite noisy at night, but again this wasn’t an issue for me. Super nice space and lovely location with volcano view (although if you have lots of luggage definitely get a tuktuk to the top !).

Great value for money, in the heart of San Marcos. The apartment was very clean and well-proportioned, with all the amenities you’d need. The roof terrace was great, and we loved that the water in the apartment was filtered - a great touch! The local area is great and there’s plenty to do in San Marcos, or a quick boat taxi to the other parts of the lake. Be aware that it’s a very ‘hippy’ vibe, if that’s not your thing… To anyone staying here, please support the local restaurants in the area! It was a shame to see so many empty places nearby (presumably as lots of tourists stay in all-inclusive retreats)!

This cabin is so stunning and peaceful! Antonia was very responsive and met me to help carry my suitcase. He even brought me potable water when I asked! This is the perfect stay for a solo traveler - there is one twin bed up in the loft - super comfy and cozy. I’ll be back!

We’re so glad we trusted all the other good reviews about this place and decided to book a 1 month stay at Ada’s!! This place truly deserves all the praises it receives. We didn’t know where exactly to stay in Lake Atitlan, we wanted to be somewhere peaceful but still have the convenience of groceries/restaurants nearby. Ada’s place is perfect for this! Also, there’s an incredible beach that’s a 25 min walk from the property. It’s in the opposite direction of town and because of that, you’ll often get the beach to yourself. The Bistro Isabela nearby offered fantastic pastas & was a lovely treat being only 4 min walk. The walk into town is about 20 min but we never had a problem catching a tuk tuk on the days we felt too lazy to walk. The Airbnb was very clean and felt like home! Ada was such a wonderful host, always attentive to our needs. She also has extra kitchen appliances if you like to cook! Just ask to borrow the food processor or instant pot :) she is so friendly and helpful! 🙏🏼
