There is a direct train connection in about 500 m. The well-known wine region with the towns of Sommerhausen, Randersacker, Eibelstadt …. offers countless excursion possibilities...

New apartment on the Maintal cycle path in Ochsenfurt

Lovely apartment in a new-build in the wine-growing village of Ochsenfurt, with views of the Main and a balcony. Wonderful riverside location, right by the Main Valley Cycle Path and various hiking trails. A bakery-café and a bus stop can be reached on foot in about 4 minutes; a supermarket, the old Main Bridge and the Nixe Main ferry in about 10 minutes. The Ochsenfurt Old Town, with its restaurants, romantic half-timbered houses and many towers, can be reached on foot along the Main in about 15 minutes.

The flat is located in Winterhausen, which is an ideal base for trips to the nearby vineyards or the River Main, whether for hiking, cycling or swimming in the summer. The train station can be reached in one minute, and from there, you can get to Würzburg by local public transport every 30–60 minutes. So, experience the beautiful city of Würzburg – without the hassle of finding a parking space!

Feel good in the vineyards in the 120 sqm vacation home

This listed and modernized vacation home awaits you in the heart of Sommerhausen. It offers space on approx. 120 square meters for a vacation for two or the whole family. The central location in the middle of the village offers the advantage of short distances (Main, vineyard, cafes, restaurants, shopping, public transport). On some weekends, due to the location on the old market square, our guests are right in the middle of our great wine festivals (for dates see pictures).

Welcome to Weinkeller 84, a wine cellar in Randersacker that has been converted into a holiday apartment. Here, old stone walls and restored furniture meet modern furnishings, which gives the apartment a great charm and coziness. The accommodation can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. Despite the basement, every room has daylight. The living-dining room has a big seating window that invites you to linger. A small garden with a terrace is available to guests.

Stay in the idyllic Mönchshof

In the middle of the old town, in a quiet street, our apartment is located on the ground floor with its own entrance. If bicycles are brought, they can be pushed through the large gate, which can be opened from the inside, into the courtyard. Please do not carry the bicycles through the apartment. Parking is only possible outside the city walls (about 2 minutes' walk). For loading and unloading, however, you can drive in front of the apartment.

The 500-year-old house was completely renovated in 2021. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the sofa under an elaborately restored stucco ceiling from the Baroque period, take a look at the historical details that can be found throughout the apartment and feel completely at home in the lovingly furnished apartment. Two bedrooms with double bed and separate bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and only 2 minutes' walk from the river bank with swimming bay.

Staying at Sommerhausen Castle

Experience an exceptional stay at the historic Schloss Sommerhausen, where cultural landmarks, fine dining, and renowned wines await you within walking distance. You will be accommodated in a spacious two-room apartment (approx. 70 m²) in the castle’s side wing, offering timeless charm and a private staircase. Upon request, the apartment can host up to two additional guests or children (sofa bed). Pets are welcome by arrangement.

Vacation apartment in a new building

Welcome to our cosy and modern holiday apartment. It is lovingly decorated with a mixture of modern and old. The apartment invites holidaymakers, cyclists or commuters alike to stay. Ochsenfurt is located directly on the River Main, with many cycling and hiking trails. Some things are within walking distance. The same applies to supermarkets on foot (1.6 km, 22 min) and the medieval old town (2 km, 25 min).

Receiving the charm of the 60s and reinterpreting from today's perspective, that was our wish when we extensively renovated our house "No. 16" together with our architects in 2017/18. The result is two sunny apartments on the southern slope of Ochsenfurt with a fantastic view of the Main Valley and the medieval old town.
