Holiday rentals with a fireplace in South Lanarkshire

Had a great 2 nights! Peaceful, secluded, clean and cosy! Everything we were looking for! Wish we had booked another few nights! But will definitely be back in the summer to experience the greenery and remember my camera to find all the birds we could hear 😍 Fire wood being provided is amazing! Definitely worth a visit to escape the crazy of daily life! Oh and the water!! Absolutely delicious 😍😍

This is honestly such a hidden gem! Exactly as described, hot tub was amazing. Yurt was perfect, was a little chilly, but the bedding was so cosy. everything you need there included. Cameron was so friendly and welcoming and took time to chat with us all and made us feel super welcome. They really do have such a beautiful place there and can't wait to come back and see what they add next.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, everything was clean and tidy when we arrived, and the place itself was easy as anything to locate. The little bowl of Tunnocks products was a welcoming touch too. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely be up for staying here again.

Lovely accommodation with a lot of privacy .It was a good location to attend a wedding in nearby Cornhill Castle. Spotless and homely little cottage with all you need. Log burner gives it very cosy feel .It was warmer than expected and sunny during our stay. Alison responded to messages with a speed of light;) In fact we are considering booking again to visit Edinburgh later this year.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Archie and Carrie were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is beautifully furnished to a high standard, with lots of thoughtful extra touches that really made a difference. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail throughout was clear to see. It’s also in a really good location, just off the M74, which made it a perfect stopover. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Euchon Bridge Cottage is so pretty and welcoming in an idyllic setting. Perfect for walking and cycling from the door and in a good position to visit Dumfries and Galloway and the west coast and Ayrshire. The cottage is well equipped with most things you could need, the heating works fine tho I'm not used to central heating so am no expert. It was nice to have the option of an open fire fir chilly evenings.

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

We loved Fairy Cottage's location, very peaceful, but there is lots to do in the surrounding area and it's very close to Lochside where we were attending a wedding reception. Hugh was so helpful and friendly - nothing too much trouble. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for a stay in this area. We only wished that we could have stayed longer - we were there for just 1 night. Angela had left us some little cakes which were much appreciated by us with a cup of tea after our 5 hour jorney from Lancashire after delays on the M6. Would definitely recommend Fairy Cottage if you're ever in New Cumnock area. Many thanks Hugh and Angela! Peter and Diane

We regularly use Peel cottage as a base when visiting family in East Kilbride and Glasgow. Perfect size for our family. Immaculate as always with everything you could need for a cosy getaway.
