“Enjoyed my stay ! Elke is an amazing host and this cottage was really lovely and a very comfortable place for a long stay. Would highly recommended”
The room on offer is the spare double bedroom in my home, with use of the shared family bathroom (includes shower over bath, and separate toilet) and the rest of the apartment's facilities (including lounge, balcony, fully-equipped kitchen with gas stove, etc) as reasonably required. There is a workspace and a couch in the bedroom, for your comfort; and blockout curtains if you'd rather avoid those early summer sunrises.
“Wow, this was an excellent experience with Fiona. We only had our last night to stay in Joburg before flying back to Germany. Maybe we had the worst time schedule for a host ever: coming relatively early (we first thought between 11 and 11.30 am and came around 12) and the flight on the next day went off late (6 pm). Fiona was such a great host, early check in was no problem and the check out as well. She made tea and coffee for us at our arrival and next morning. She really cared and we had great conversations with her. The room is nice and a real experience in Joburg. We had such a beautiful time that we went on the Hillbrow Walking tour with her (Dlala Nje, highly recommended!) before we checked out. Go there if you want a real experience in a safe building with nice people! You really miss out if you don't!”
