Holiday rentals with a kayak in Spain

We had a great weeks stay at Maria’s place. The accommodation was exactly as described and pictured, and was absolutely spotlessly clean. We loved that we could walk to a couple of small local beaches and so many more just a short drive away - lots with great beach bars (although a lot not yet open as April is a bit early in the season!). We recommend a car to get around as not many restaurants within walking distance. We visited some wonderful places but especially recommend a trip to the Cies Islands if you can! The house was a perfect size for our family of 4 and we loved having the outdoor space. The whole place felt very safe and secure as well with the locked gate and Maria was a very kind and responsive host.

I would like to thank the hospitable owners of this house, we felt during our vacation as if we were visiting this wonderful family. Very cozy, there is more than it can be necessary, thought out everything to the smallest detail, there are items for entertainment and recreation at home and on the beach, bicycles, tennis equipment. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are all the necessary textiles for relaxation. The house is in an incredible location on the beach, incredible views and a beautiful beach with the cleanest sea. We are very grateful to you, we would like to come back again. With love from Russia ♥️

Als je een plek wilt met een heerlijk zwembad en een echt geweldig uitzicht.... dan moet je dit boeken! De buitenruimte is vooral echt geweldig, we hebben ons hier heel goed vermaakt met 2 gezinnen. Keuken had wat beter schoongemaakt kunnen worden, maar wellicht had dat ook te maken met de chaos rondom de stroomstoring in Spanje. Uitzicht doe je het voor, nog beter dan op de foto's! En echt fijn dat het huis zo goed uitgerust is, zelfs alle strandspullen en kano's beschikbaar. Anna reageerde heel snel en was een fijn contactpersoon.

The purpose of the trip was for my brother in Germany and me in America to meet half way, to celebrate our 50th birthday together. We stayed for 14 days. I was accompanied by hubby, daughter, and family friend. We rented a car at Alicante airport, and we arrived at AIRBNB within 30 minutes. Thanks to prior excellent instructions of our host Marie, we had great directions and it was a pleasure to stay at this amazing AIRBNB. The view was fabulous over the Mediterranean Sea. We enjoyed the quiet setting and felt safe in the neighborhood. Weather was beautiful in December. We enjoyed home cooking in fully equipped kitchen, closed out our days with evening walks and sitting on front porch. We recommend sightseeing of castle in Guadalest, waterfalls in Algar, lookout deck in Benidorm, all of Alicante, canelobre caves in Busot. Trip to Alhambra in Granada. Beaches and restaurants in El Campello. We're thanking Marie for excellent communication and wish her all the best in the future.

This isn't just a holiday home, it's a real family home away from home. We've been here before and we'll definitely be back. Maria is a great host. Everything was all set for us and the villa's even been upgraded with new appliances, bedding and outdoor furniture. The view is still fantastic, and Portocolom is cute and peaceful. We give it five stars!

Hemos estado muy a gusto en Casa Carlota. Una casa muy acogedora, en un entorno muy bonito. Además Carlota nos ha atendido muy bien en todo momento, facilitando toda la información que hemos necesitado. Seguro que volveremos.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cette villa ! Tout s’est parfaitement déroulé du début à la fin. Abe a été un hôte formidable, très accueillant et toujours disponible. La maison était superbe, parfaitement entretenue, avec une piscine qui a fait le bonheur de toute la famille. Nous avons vécu un moment convivial et chaleureux, dans un cadre idéal pour se retrouver en famille. Abe n’a pas hésité à nous donner de précieux conseils tout au long du séjour, ce qui a vraiment enrichi notre expérience. Nous recommandons cette location les yeux fermés et espérons revenir très vite !

La casa de la marmota es un sitio súper acogedor y bonito. Sin duda alguna ha sido una estancia genial y Silvia (la anfitriona) ha sido excelente. Volveremos seguro y lo recomiendo totalmente!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette jolie maison bleue située dans le centre historique. Le lieu est paisible et calme, idéal pour se ressourcer le soir notamment sur la jolie terrasse située sur le toit de la maison. La communication avec Giulia est parfaite, est très réactive, Giulia est attentionnée. Nous recommandons ce lieu et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Nos han gustado mucho. Todo fue buena y limpia.

A mejorar: La limpieza de los utensilios de la cocina, vasos y platos estaban llenos de grasa. Eche de menos una lavadora que no es imprescindible, pero se hubiese agradecido. Algo, ya más personal un telescopio, hubiese sido increíble ya que con la vista y como se ven las estrellas sin contaminación lumínica la verdad que está súper guay el lugar. Sitio perfecto para desconectar, además de que mi perra se lo paso en grande hasta el camino del lago, muchísimas gracias a Julián por estar en contacto en cada momento, a María José por el recibimiento y resolverme las dudas y a Jose Antonio! Un sitio en el que repetir sin dudarlo y terminar de disfrutar de Malaga, el pueblo está a 3km con buenos restaurantes, carnicerías y de todo. Además, de que la playa está unos 40min que no está nada mal, al igual que hacia Ronda y otros pueblos a visitar. Nos vemos, un saludo!!!

Todo muy limpio,muchos detalles y muy buenos y Antonio muy atento y mostrando mucho interés,un sitio para recomendar sin duda.

Pasamos unos días estupendos. El alojamiento es perfecto para dos personas y el entorno es precioso para caminar y disfrutar de hermosas puestas de sol. Ideal para desconectar.

​We had a 5-day stay at this rustic cottage in nature. If you're looking for a retreat surrounded by birdsong and greenery, this is the perfect spot. It truly feels like an escape into nature. That said, a car is needed, as the nearest town is a drive away and the last approx. 2 km of road is not smooth. The access to the cottage from the road might not be suitable for everyone—there are steep, winding stairs & uneven surfaces, so it’s something to consider for guests with limited mobility. Jens & Sarah were ​very good hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent, making it a great option for remote workers, though the lighting indoors is ​ somewhat dim, so plan accordingly if you need a well-lit space to work. Being immersed in nature also means you may encounter insects or mosquitoes, so come prepared—but that’s part of the experience in such a beautifully natural setting. All in all, a peaceful and authentic getaway in nature.

Ivan ha sido muy atento y muy amable, hasta nos consiguió una nueva barbacoa porque sabía que la íbamos a usar para muchas personas. Las vistas de la casa son un sueño, el jardín es enorme y hay muchísima tranquilidad y privacidad. Lo hemos pasado muy bien.

Todo muy correcto , la cabaña aísla perfectamente de la lluvia y frío y la cama que para nosotros es importante estuvo a la altura .

La cabaña es básica pero cómoda, el sitio súper tranquilo. Para ir con niños está genial ya que a escasos metros Francisco tiene el parque de actividades en plena naturaleza. Francisco y su familia nos han facilitado la estancia tanto con el trato como con las instrucciones y facilidades; nos hemos sentido como en casa. Lo que j hemos necesitado nos lo ha facilitado de inmediato y ha sido muy servicial con nosotras; además de la paciencia que tiene con los críos. Ha estado pendiente en todo momento. Estamos muy agradecidas

Our stay there was perfect. Really cozy cabin in the nature, but still very close to the beach and the cities!

Muy bonito todo y frente al rio, mucha tranquilidad y espacio para desconectar, los bungalows son muy bonitos y tienen su encanto por dentro, esta muy cerca del pueblo, ya que se puede ir andando, donde hay muchos restaurantes, supermercados y tiendas. Dentro del camping tambien hay una piscina y un bar que esta bastante bien con unos dueños muy simpaticos y precio muy económico para comer. Maya y Didac los dueños del camping muy agradables y campechanos y la verdad que cuando le hemos pedido algo Didac no ha tenido ningún problema en darnoslo. Hemos ido con nuestros dos perros y la verdad que han disfrutado mucho. Nos ha gustado tanto que hemos cogido una noche de más. Sin duda si volvemos por esta zona volveriamos a este camping.

Das riesige Gelände der Finca ist wie ein verzauberter Wald mit stimmungsvollen Laternen, tollen Plätzen zum Essen und zum Ausruhen, einem kleinen Fluss und direktem Zugang zur Ria. Die Hütte selbst ist einfach und zu viert eher klein aber wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten und die Hütte riecht toll nach Holz. Wir hatten viel Verpflegung von Luis (frisches Obst, Kaffee, Kuchen etc). Die Outdoor-Küche am Wasser war genial. Man merkt einfach an jeder Ecke, wie viel Liebe Luis in die Finca steckt! Luis stellt Kajaks zur Verfügung, mit der man die Ria erkunden kann und zu diversen traumhaften Stränden kommt. Torrelavega ist in der Nähe und eine lebendige, schöne Stadt. Das Labyrinth in Villapresente ist sehr empfehlenswert! Das Beste an dem Haus aber ist zweifellos der Gastgeber selbst! Wir haben uns sehr gut mit Luis verstanden und ein paar echt gemütliche Stunden am Lagerfeuer und beim Fischessen gehabt (vielen Dank!). Es war wirklich ein traumhafter, unvergesslicher Aufenthalt

La verdad que la cabaña estaba nueva prácticamente y a pesar de ser muy compacta, está todo muy bien distribuido para dos personas, pero no recomendaría más. Es verdad que algunos materiales plásticos no parecen ser muy duraderos, pero el tiempo dirá. También hay que entender que estamos en medio del campo prácticamente y hay arañas y bichos rondando. Recomendaría ir equipado con un insecticida, y no abrir mucho la puerta o ventanas por la noche con la luz encendida. Fue una pena que no estuvieran abiertas las instalaciones de escalada porque me apetecía probarlo. Ricardo estuvo en todo momento atento y dispuesto para resolver cualquier problema.

Agradecer a Eduardo y a Ana como tienen el alojamiento, tanto la zona exterior como el interior de la cabaña. Es muy acogedora y calentita. Y ellos son muy amables, facilitando mapas de la zona y aconsejando que ver y que hacer. Volveremos a repetir
