Great place and location for families. Easy access to the beach and trails.

Courtney is a great host, very responsive The house is amazing and in a great location,the king size mattress upstairs is extremely confortable.

Lynn and Glenn provide all the small details you can think about and better even the ones that you don't like ziplocks, Tupperware, coffee and all different things for cooking. You can really be at home in their place and get comfortable and the dock is its own little oasis. Using the golf cart made commuting around town such easy fun, our family loved taking rides with it. We had a great stay and will be looking to come back in the hear future.

This place was just as advertised, affordable, and a great place to stay for a nice getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Greg’s home is beautiful, with excellent taste in decor. Everything is spotless, and the house has everything you could need. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the entire place makes you feel welcome. The view of the lake in the backyard is stunning, with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy nature. I will definitely return because it’s a place that truly invites rest.

It was a very beautiful home. Lots of different things to do around the area as well, and the canal was very good fishing.

The place is beautiful and spacious, full of natural light and all the appliances needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If it is peace you are looking for, this is it! First the view is wonderful! The lake is just beautiful! The house is tastefully decorated and the Kitchen has everything even the greatest chef could need. Not to mention the outdoor grill! We will definitely return!

A private and peaceful retreat with a dock perfect for fishing. Fully equipped for a relaxed getaway, offering everything needed for a stress-free stay. The owner even surprised us with fresh eggs from their own hens—a lovely touch!

Julie was an amazing host! Her home, landscaping and property with river views was absolutely gorgeous!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time meeting her and walking the grounds together. Her home was well equipped and extremely clean. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. This was our first trip to St Augustine and this home absolutely made our stay fabulous. The home is beautiful, spotless, well appointed and comfortable. Every detail has been thought of and provided. We loved being in a historic neighborhood and learning all about it on our trolley tour. It is definitely walkable into the downtown area. We enjoyed walking a few blocks and enjoying the Blues Festival at a neighborhood church. Wow! The music was excellent. Starting and ending each day on the gorgeous back deck lakeside was glorious. I highly recommend this home and hope to be back in the future.

The captains cottage was a perfect place for our family, it exceeded expectations, the lake was beautiful, there were bikes and a paddle boat we used almost every day. There was wildlife galore in the lake. The local restaurants were top notch. This was exactly the peaceful, quiet place and neighborhood we were looking for.

Charlene was an excellent host with very quick response times! Check in was a breeze. The home itself was very clean, organized and so roomy! We had a group of 7 and could have comfortably fit many more. We all felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was breathtaking and we enjoyed cups of coffee on the huge porch every morning while looking out at the view. The location is quiet and peaceful. Only 20-30 mins from local restaurants and stores. Will certainly stay here again as this place has so much to offer for an affordable price. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway!

It was just as pictured. You have to appreciate the little touches that tied everything to the theme of the house. Easy walking distance to town. Nice and quiet. Had everything we needed and plenty of extras! Definitely recommend! Look forward to staying there again in the future!
