Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Stirling

What a stunning house in the most gorgeous area ... Mhairi's house is a complete fairytale and was perfect for myself and 11 other friends to stay for the weekend. The house was clean, stylish, and warm with a huge patio and fabulous living / dining space. We were all desperate to move in - a real dream house. It is also close to a loch and lovely swimming spots which are a short walk away from the house. We'll be recommending this place to everyone and would love to return! Thank you Mhairi for all your advice and helping us have such a wonderful weekend together :)

We booked this house for a joint 70th birthday present to our parents and stayed with people aged between 1-70. It met all our needs well and the house is lovely and warm with good bathrooms, spacious kitchen and wonderful outdoor space.

This was a great place to stay for a group of 6 friends on a hiking weekend. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen. Bedrooms are nice, though one of the twin rooms has quite small beds. We managed ok but they could be a problem for tall people. The hot tub and pool room were great fun, it's a real bonus to have stuff like that where you stay. Both bathrooms are a good standard too. Parking in the area behind the house is a bit tricky, especially for larger cars. Once you're in, it's very secure though. Just make sure you open the gate all the way and you should be fine. Callander is a lovely location and a good base for Munro bagging. We'll definitely look to see if this place is available when we plan our next hiking trip.

We were a family group spanning two generations with two couples and a single. We fit in the accommodation fairly comfortably. Lovely old house in a beautiful peaceful setting. It’s been a long time since I heard so many different bird songs. I cooked in the kitchen. The knives weren’t great, but I completely understand, people would abuse good knives, but I mention it because if you’re not flying and you want to cook, maybe you’d want to take your own knives. The towels and linens were nice, the beds were comfortable and the hosts were friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

An outstanding property in terms of location, style and comfort. Furnishings of a high standard and befitting the period character of the house. Enjoyed watching the changing patterns of weather from the comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture. Duncan was a gracious host. Highly recommended.

Alice is a fantastic host. She responded quickly to the questions we had and offered recommendations for dinner. Our stay was short but her property made it easy. We were minutes away from multiple trails, delicious food, and looked forward to the comforts of home at the end of the day. Beautiful place! Great location!

We’ve been going to st fillans for many years and loved how close this was to the Loch and the play park as well as being handy for walks! Sean was very accommodating to a request we made and communicated well with us throughout. Will happily stay again in the near future!

We had the most wonderful few days at The Brewland’s Clover Cottage. The location is beautiful. Tucked between green rolling hills and a charming little stream…the stone cottage was everything we had hoped for in a country escape. Arrived on a rainy afternoon to find the home tidy and warm. Biscuits were left on the table, along with plenty of information on the estate and activities in the area. Spent our days enjoying nature walks, charting the red squirrels, and enjoying meals by the wood fire. A day trip to Balmoral Castle provided a beautiful drive through the national park lands. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and lovely way to end a busy day of exploring. We can’t wait to return!

The apartment was exactly as described , easy access , the apartment was clean with all the essentials . It was perfect for our family get together . Have recommended it to my family for future get togethers. Highly recommended if your are visiting the area . Many thanks Mandy

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. We had absolutely all we needed. Location is amazing: in the best part of the old town, 2mins from cafes, reataurants, pubs AND near the castle and historic attractions. Highly recommended- we will come back!

A gem right in the middle of Old Town! Everything we wanted to see was accessible steps from the street entrance. The only drawback for one of our party was getting up the four flights of stairs. Pack light for this booking. Thank you Charlotte for sharing your lovely place!

A fantastic stay had by two families with young children and dogs. A wonderful property in the most amazing location. We had everything in the house we needed and the kayaks and beach access down the hill was fantastic too. Great communication and information from the host. Thank you.

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Such a beautiful home and perfect for our family’s stay for our daughter’s wedding at a farm nearby. Such a unique property and we were grateful for the gorgeous back garden since we had such great weather. Kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the setup of the house overall.

Nick went above and beyond in supporting our trip. We were 10 adults 6 kids, for me the old worldly feel & nature showing through every window was unreal-Every room felt unique & special. Some family messages below to help summarize the home :) •Aged 11: The house was lovely one of the best experiences I’ve ever been to, it is a massive place and it was a really nice fun place in a little town •Aged 45: It was a wonderful stay and exactly as described. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, very close to village but feels like we were out in the country. House, Beautifully decorated, big but yet felt very cosy. Everything you could possibly need was provided for. Outside amenities included a hot tub which was the icing on the cake of a magnificent property •Aged 74: Such a wonderful ambience for a family gathering so peaceful •Aged 43: Nothing like having you're own personal hotel for a weekend :) Aged 12: I want to live there, it was gorgeous. This is a lovely house with beautiful views in a fantastic location! We got very lucky with sunny weather during our stay meaning we could make the most of the gorgeous surroundings - we did white water rafting on the River Tay and enjoyed the Taymouth Marina spa, all of which were a short drive away from the house. The house was just as described and pictured and the hosts were great - they were very responsive and flexible, allowing us to have both an early checkin and late check out. There is a good amount of parking at the property and the kitchen was well stocked with all amenities you could need. The house is on a main road but it is not busy and traffic noise was not an issue. I would definitely recommend this house to a group.
