In the living room, there are 2 more single beds and a dining table. Cooking is done in the kitchenette and an outdoor gas grill is available. We provide bed linens, towels and basic goods

Kakelmakargården B&B, lake view central Mariefred

Rooms in courtyard house on a cosy courtyard in central Mariefred with lake views over Lake Mälaren. The house is adjacent to Kakelmakargården, which dates from the late 18th century. The room has a double bed that can easily be separated into two single beds, as well as a sleeping loft with a single bed, ideal for children. Free parking with charging facilities close to the house. A short walk to restaurants and shops. Approximately 500 metres to Gripsholm Castle, 300 metres to Tucholsky's grave, 200 metres to the bathing jetty.

Walk to Taxinge Castle ("the tile castle") in just under 2 km – a popular destination with a café and beautiful surroundings.

The guest apartment is on top of our double garage. The place is about 40 sqm, and the ceiling is quite low at some places (please check the photos). We live in a house about 50 meters in front of the apartment. From the apartment you reach (by foot) the train station in 3 minutes, the city center in 10 minutes and the dome church in 5 minutes. We have bikes, skate ramp, SUP and other things if you wish to borrow :) Towels and bed sheets are included.

Located in Sörmland just 10 minutes from the summer idylls Mariefred and Strängnäs, about 1 hour's drive from Stockholm. Historical idyll from the 1600s

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.

The guest house is situated in central Strängnäs, on the street Gyllenhjelmsgatan that lead up to the cathedral. This street is commonly known as "The most beautiful street in Sweden". The house is from early 1800's and well kept in it's charm. During the summer guests have access to a patio in the garden. It is close to shops, restaurants, etc. 100m to the town square, 200m to the marina with restaurants etc. Welcome!

Guesthouse - at the shore of Lake Mälaren

We are far from the big city, but still only 1 hour from Stockholm, with a nice view of Lake Mälaren and the opportunity to sit on our jetty at sunset. Our guest house is about 45 sqm with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (180 cm bed) and a small living room with sofa bed (140 cm). The guest house is built together with the main building and has its own balcony.
