Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Svolvær

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

Beautiful stay, ideally located in the middle of nature, facing the sea. The view from the living room is fabulous. Very central for visiting the Lofoten.

Trond's place was the perfect getaway for our family reunion. The location was amazing, the views were outstanding, and the sound of sheep and nature just outside the property. We will definitely return! Tusen Takk, Trond!

Everything was perfect, including the wood fire - which we needed as it snowed off and on for 3 days. But the house was warm and extremely comfortable!! Everything we needed was there! Beautiful walks in the area.

Tony's place has everything you need. We felt comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation.

Rune was very helpful with finding a last minute accommodation for us when (due to circumstances) we had to change our travel schedule. The apartment has amazing views - highly recommended for travellers who seek solitude and tranquility.

Large, very cozy home with two living rooms! However, it should be noted that it is next to the airport runway.

We felt right at home. The apartment was comfortably furnished and was invitingly warm when we arrived. The location is very quiet, right nearby there is a supermarket that has a lot of choice. Since we were traveling by car anyway, it was the perfect location for us. Everything you need was available. The kitchen was very well equipped for everyday needs.

Natalia was such a lovely host. She helped us with local jnfo before checkin, was there to greet us and show us around (which we would not have needed had she not been home, but helpful nonetheless), and had some basic foods in stock for our use.

Our stay was really nice. The apartment was clean, calm and very cosy. We even saw the northern lights from the balcony. Thanks for everything! We would definetely come back!

Very nice cabin just overlooking a nice bay in a quiet setting. Special care was given to nicely decorate the house, furniture were also nice and provided a harmonious look. Entering into the house gave an immediate homey impression. In addition Gunnarsen was always very responsive to our requests. Thank you for the nice stay

Very stylishly furnished apartment with views of the harbor entrance and the arrival of the Hurtigrut ships. Public sauna right next door, best restaurant of northern Norway about a 20-minute walk.

I stayed in several places during my trip across Norway, but this Airbnb in Svolvær was by far the best experience I had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just perfect. The cabin is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly well-equipped, every single thing you might need is already there, thoughtfully prepared with care and attention. It felt instantly safe, warm, and homey, which is rare to find. What made this stay truly unforgettable was our host. He was so present, kind, and generous, sharing local tips, stories, and our passion for photography. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, observe splendid auroras from the backyard and feel truly welcomed, this is the one. Great stay in this large flat in the heart of Reine. The accommodation is very well equipped, functional and clean. Thank you for everything!

We had a lovely time at Roger’s place, which was equipped with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Roger was very communicative, and provided thorough check-in instructions. The rorbuer is cozy and comfortable and well furnished, right on the harbour at Ballstad with a beautiful view out the front windows. I would recommend it to visitors desiring the “traditional” Lofoten experience without the huge price tag! Ballstad is a small village about 15 minutes drive from Leknes, where you can do your shopping. There is a convenience store a few minutes drive from the cabin, and a few restaurants around. I will note that the cabin is quite small, and there is no room to store suitcases in the bedroom - we kept ours in the living area, which was not a problem for us. There is also an upstairs residence and you can hear the occupants moving around - again, not an issue for us, but might be for others. Thanks for having us, Roger - we didn’t want to leave!
