We also rent BBQ grills and tent saunas, so you can enjoy an extraordinary experience while feeling at one with nature. * We may not be able to provide a tent sauna depending on availability. This is a detached holiday home located a 10-minute walk from JR Omi-Maiko Station and an 8-minute walk from the nearest beach on Lake Biwa.You can see Lake Biwa from the building.You're also welcome to stay with pets!　You can enjoy local life without worrying like a ryokan, hotel, or group glamping inn.Fiber optic internet, wifi throughout the building, playroom and work desk, terrestrial and on-demand TV on a large TV.From a few nights to a long stay, enjoy life in Lake Biwa with your loved ones and pets. The floor on the 1st floor is completely solid, and it is maintained with only edible oil, so it is safe for people and pets. As a measure to prevent infection and hygiene, all rooms are in all rooms!The room is equipped with a ventilation fan (no loss) that allows air exchange with the outside and a plasma cluster air conditioner. Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts.
