Monthly Rentals in Tanegashima

This is a WOW Airbnb. I will admit it was a bit hard to find BUT when we did, it was a treasure. Amazing views of the sea. Sleeping in the Japanese style mats with the fresh crisp air coming in the floor to ceiling windows was perfect and we had the best sleep. It was so so quiet and the occasional light from the lighthouse. The house had everything we needed- fully equipped kitchen, great large shower, deck and incredible views. The location is just outside of the village - you will need a car. No other houses around- just you and views of the sea and mountains in the background. It’s one of our favorite Airbnb bookings ever!

Akrira's home expresses thoughtfulness in every detail. For example, there is a multitude of young family members. You are greeted by a vase of beautiful flowers. There aren't a thousand signs like on other listings that you get excellent instructions via email. Bathroom and kitchen are bellows equipped. Good location to restaurants. Beautiful beaches along the coast. Vikan really recommend Akira's accommodation.

We loved staying here! Will absolutely come back the next time we’re in Yakushima

I will be staying in Yakushima, and if you have a rental car, I definitely recommend this place.️ It's a place that meets all the expectations for Airbnb.🥹 Yakushima's restaurant closed early, and it quickly became full, so it was difficult to eat out. However, there was a grocery store near the accommodation, so it was easy to procure food, and it was nice to be able to cook and eat because it was equipped with cutlery and seasonings. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, so it was a comfortable time. The host was responsive and friendly. It was nice that they even provided information on nearby restaurants and amenities. I want to stay again next time I come to Yakushima!!
