Holiday rentals with a kayak in Tangalle

I loved my stay at Nomads. Next to the lake, very peaceful and quiet & still just a close scooter ride away from Ahangama. Sunil and the rest of the crew are the best. Stayed there for a months and was still sad to leave.

Villa vador is a a very special place, quiet and peaceful except for the lizards and monkeys… we took young children and it was very comfortable and Sasun and his team were very helpful.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic time at this villa! The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The ambiance was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch. Chef Sammy’s food was superb! Very accommodating and he catered to our requirement without a hesitation and Thari was so helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday experience!

I don't have enough wonderful words for Thiwanka. I had an unfortunate incident, Thiwanka helped me arranged the appointment with doctor, helped me with the tuk tuk, helped me with everything! He is such a kind kind person. The location is so close to the fish market. It is a perfect place for people who love sea food 😀 I only stayed for two nights, but I would be happy to come back for longer next time! or even long stay!

The place is really nice and very cozy. You live together with the hosts on a property, but you have your own small cottage with a private garden – perfect conditions for sufficient privacy. The hosts are extremely warm and accommodating. The breakfast, which can be chosen from a small selection, was very tasty. The room is clean, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Restaurants, the beach and laundries are within walking distance. Overall a completely successful accommodation – we will be happy to come back!

Dear Lahiru, and Uncle, Just a heartfelt thank you for a wonderful stay at your villa on Lake Koggala, truly one of the highlights of our trip. Peaceful, relaxing, and full of unforgettable moments. The setting was magical. Waking to the sounds of wildlife, watching bats sweep across the sunset sky, it all felt alive and special. The variety of birds was incredible, and the monkeys made us feel like nature was putting on a show. The pool was a favorite for both me and our 12-year-old—simple joy at its best. The food was another highlight: every meal delicious, full of local flavor, and clearly made with care. After days of exploring, surfing, and touring, returning to the villa felt like stepping into paradise. The sunsets over the lake and the peaceful energy helped us slow down and truly soak it all in.
