Holiday rentals with a kayak in Tangalle

I loved my stay at Nomads. Next to the lake, very peaceful and quiet & still just a close scooter ride away from Ahangama. Sunil and the rest of the crew are the best. Stayed there for a months and was still sad to leave.

Deuxième séjour à Villa Vador et ce fut une nouvelle fois un séjour inoubliable. Mes enfants et petits-enfants ont adoré admirer la faune et la flore. Stephen et son équipe managée par Sasun sont formidables. La villa est très belle et le jardin est merveilleux. Nous n’avions pas envie de partir et espérons revenir dès que possible…

Pour commencer nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rester dans ce logement en raison d’une erreur de date. Toutefois, l’hôte très proactif nous a proposé un autre logement tout aussi beau et encore plus grand au même tarif ( Villa Hiru Sindu). À quelques minutes à pied de la plage, cette villa offre un jardin et un espace vert verdoyant et calme. Nous avons même aperçu des singes sur les arbres fruitiers de la propriété. D’ailleurs, il nous faut mentionner la gentillesse de la propriétaire qui habite à quelques mètres de la maison. Elle nous a accueilli avec un immense sourire et des jus frais de son jardin. Pour un séjour de dernière minute nous étions très bien ! Il faut toutefois noter qu’il n’y a pas de filet à moustiques au dessus des lits ce qui peut être un inconvénient pour certains voyageurs. Comme la villa est nouvellement accessible, il s’agit d’un des elements potentiels à ajuster pour le futur. Somme toute, nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic time at this villa! The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The ambiance was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch. Chef Sammy’s food was superb! Very accommodating and he catered to our requirement without a hesitation and Thari was so helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday experience!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le contact est facile et l hôte nous as prévenu de l arrivée des tortues le soir même ce qui nous as permis de les voir . Le restaurant est bon et l environnement très calme. Nous recommandons

I don't have enough wonderful words for Thiwanka. I had an unfortunate incident, Thiwanka helped me arranged the appointment with doctor, helped me with the tuk tuk, helped me with everything! He is such a kind kind person. The location is so close to the fish market. It is a perfect place for people who love sea food 😀 I only stayed for two nights, but I would be happy to come back for longer next time! or even long stay!

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön und sehr gemütlich. Man wohnt gemeinsam mit den Gastgebern auf einem Grundstück, hat jedoch ein eigenes kleines Häuschen mit privatem Garten – perfekte Voraussetzungen für ausreichend Privatsphäre. Die Hosts sind äußerst herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück, das aus einer kleinen Auswahl gewählt werden kann, war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer ist sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Restaurants, der Strand sowie Wäschereien sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Insgesamt eine rundum gelungene Unterkunft – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Dear Lahiru, and Uncle, Just a heartfelt thank you for a wonderful stay at your villa on Lake Koggala, truly one of the highlights of our trip. Peaceful, relaxing, and full of unforgettable moments. The setting was magical. Waking to the sounds of wildlife, watching bats sweep across the sunset sky, it all felt alive and special. The variety of birds was incredible, and the monkeys made us feel like nature was putting on a show. The pool was a favorite for both me and our 12-year-old—simple joy at its best. The food was another highlight: every meal delicious, full of local flavor, and clearly made with care. After days of exploring, surfing, and touring, returning to the villa felt like stepping into paradise. The sunsets over the lake and the peaceful energy helped us slow down and truly soak it all in. A big thank you to Lahiru (great cook) and Uncle for helping with transport, great tips, and warm hospitality. Wonderful hosts who exceeded expectations. Adam B and Family
