House holiday rentals in Tarrafal

Amazing. Very nice house, magnificent view, the pool is splendid and the private beach at the foot of the house is absolutely wonderful - 10 minutes' walk from the village beach - very friendly with its small bars - and 15 minutes from the sublime wild beach of Preta - the hospitality is very well managed - The team helped us get ferry tickets - an ideal place to rest in the sweetness of Maio Island.

Andrea's place is very well located as it is a few 100m to the nearest supermarket as well as to the city beach a good quarter of an hour walk. The house has been lovingly built, the garden very green. Under the tree you can relax wonderfully in the shade. The barbecue invites you to fry fish and vegetables in the evening. The communication with Andrea went smoothly, there were very good tips and an answer to all questions. Clear recommendation!

Very nice spacious villa, very responsive and available host, in a quiet residential area and accessible amenities, 10 minutes walk from the beach. Also, the air conditioning in each room, and the cozy outdoor area with very clean pool are very nice.

Kindly Bernard agreed to pick us up for free from our previous accommodation. He accommodated us in a larger, very nice house. Valerie and Bernard do everything to make our stay enjoyable: bike loan, informed advice, we really enjoyed the visit to her friend Raphaël Colicci who founded the Maioasis agroforestry farm:an extraordinary project to develop autonomous farms for social and solidarity purposes on the island of Maio.

Very beautiful and large house, very comfortable, with an amazing view, a peaceful terrace and nickel rooms. Close to the center, on foot. A big thank you to Mirtes, our host, edy, the driver and Vanusa, the cook who really took care of us. nothing to say. Thank you very much. Small downside for the extremely noisy water pump as soon as we use water. and for the pool that deserves a good maintenance. We recommend it.

Very nice accommodation, well located and very clean on the beautiful island of Maio. We arrived at 9am and were able to directly access the accommodation with transportation included from the port. The infinity pool is very well maintained and allows you to perfectly contemplate the sunset. Access to a private beach is also present and allows extreme tranquility.

Very nice accommodation, faithful to the description. Antonio was lovely and had great tips. Edite is very responsive by message and has given us many places to visit. The neighborhood is quiet, a little far from the city center a car is essential to get around. The pool was clean, well-maintained. We had a pleasant end of stay in this house.

I felt very comfortable in Maria De Fátima's house, everything was clean and corresponded to the photos. The shower has neat water pressure, the bed is comfortable and with mosquito net. As a small welcome, juice and water were even waiting for me in the fridge. Thank you in this way! Communication with Maria worked smoothly; if I'm in the area again, happy to come back!

After we had to leave another apartment at short notice, we were very warmly welcomed by Tina in the apartment. Tina showed us everything right away. The apartment was impeccably clean and also the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Tina came after 2 nights to check on the right and ask if we need anything. Since our daughter was sick at that time, she drove us to the hospital and took care of our daughter touchingly ❤️ We are very grateful for staying in the apartment. Tina is super sweet and despite we don't speak Spanish, she took touching care of us. We can only recommend the apartment!

Edna's place is spacious and very clean. It is located in a very beautiful house . Edna is responsive and communication was perfect. We were greeted by Neusa, Edna's sister-in-law, who is very friendly. There is a good Wifi connection except in the bedrooms. The apartment is a bit tricky to find. You have to find your way around the green hotel, which is just before. There is a bakery near the apartment where one can find good bread.

Nelson's house is much better in real life than in photos. Unbeatable value for money! This is a large house on 3 levels with everything you need. Not very attractive environment (neighborhood under construction and seaside little valorized) but close to Assomada (market), Principal (hikes and restaurant Sabor 5 ****), and Banana de Ribeira dos picos. Perfect welcome by Sylvio, Nelson's brother.

Paula's accommodation is as advertised, very well-equipped, a very pleasant terrace and 2 minutes from the beach. Paula is a very responsive and welcoming host, like all Cape Verdeans! Thank you for everything Paula!

Well-equipped, very clean and tidy apartment in the middle of Tarrafal. Beach, shops and public transport are within walking distance. Leandra was super quick and friendly to our messages/ requests. Thanks so much :-)

We had a lovely stay at this authentic little house in the Picos Valley. A peaceful place where simplicity reigns. In addition, Lina's little dishes delighted us. We discovered the traditional Cape Verdean cuisine. Lina is a discreet neighbor who cares about the well-being of hosts. Our children enjoyed accompanying her husband to feed the animals. In short, a place with a beautiful soul.

I spent now a total of three weeks with Iolanda and Johannes, and my enthusiasm is intact. Wonderful place, wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is very good, the amenities are good. The shops and the sea are close. But above all Maria is exceptional, close, responsive, friendly. Excellent pastry chef, she offered us good cake. It feels like home. Her husband speaks English and a little French. I recommend this beautiful experience.
