Family-friendly holiday rentals in Terre-de-Bancalié

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped, where we had a great time. Too bad, however, that cleaning and access to the spa are offered at extra cost. It is also unfortunate that there is little flexibility on the departure time (set at 11am), with the host arriving precisely at that time. A big thank you to Nathalie for her warm welcome.

We had a great time at Géraldine and Stéphane's place. The house is beautiful, very well equipped. The environment is peaceful. Géraldine and Stéphane are very available and responsive hosts. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a pleasant stay at this accommodation as well as with our two dogs, quietly located away from the street ideal for total disconnection! (anyway the wifi / network is of the same opinion😉). Very well equipped accommodation whether in the kitchen (it feels like home there is nothing missing!) or in the other rooms too! The hot tub and heated pool are a real plus that allowed us to enjoy it throughout the stay despite the sometimes capricious weather! In addition, the hosts are very friendly, welcoming and responsive when needed! In short, if you are visiting the region or want to discover it longer, it's a good place! Looking forward to it 😉

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The accommodation was characterful, comfortable and well-equipped in a charming, historical building. Pascale and family were helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We stayed with young children who did need some supervision due to slippery steps etc. but there was plenty for them to do and we would definitely return as a family.

What a wonderful house! The setting is splendid. The house is 10 small steps from the lake. This lake is very beautiful, quiet and relaxing. A beautiful old house with all the comforts you need, in a lovely small village. We stayed for a week and found the house to be comfortable and well equipped. Not quite warm enough for a swim in the pool but it looked inviting. We enjoyed walking along the trails nearby. The house is close to lots of attractions and other places to visit (by car) and it was a great base for us to explore the area.

Excellent weekend in an appreciable calm and beautiful countryside where we had nice walks. Thanks to Caty for her communicative good humor, we had a pleasant time over a drink and she gave us the good idea to visit Puyselci, very beautiful village and very lively. We will be back

We had a great time at Lise's house, the park is beautiful. We immediately felt very good in the house, very friendly and welcoming. It really has everything for young and old. We highly recommend this location.

We are a family of 5, (kids age 12, 9 & 6) and we all loved Graham's place. The building is lovely and the view is stunning. It is very family friendly, Graham has thought of even the small details for little children. Graham is a very responsive host, and just at the other end of the phone eager to help. We loved walking around Graham's place, playing in the park, playing games of table tennis, swimming in the pool (which was heated), talking to the cats, particularly Bella who followed us around the first couple of days. Graham then pointed out another walk at his place down to the river past a tyre swing which we enjoyed. It really is an amazing place. We payed a visit to Gorge D'heric which is just wow. So beautiful. Went to the bakery in Riols a couple of times...definitely recommend. Had a couple of days out to Carcossone and the Millau Viaduct. Loved driving through the little French villages, they are very pretty. A great quiet and rural stay away from all the hustle and bustle

Already our 2nd weekend with friends at James's, and we hope there will be more! The house is really perfect for spending a few days with family and friends. James and his staff were very accommodating and accommodating. Note the impeccable cleanliness of this huge house!

Catherine our host was lovely. The location is sublime, so peaceful and there are wonderful views from the gite. The gite was full of history and character. Perfect.

What a wonderful house. Thank you to you both for a great stay. The immediate area and views from the house are beautiful and there is so much more to do in the area than we had time for. There are also options for really hot weather (ie pool days and garden dinners 😊) and cooler days - markets, walks, an amazing day in Burlats for their Medieval festival, galleries, Lautrec and the fabulous Cafe Plum… We didn’t scratch the surface. Lots of room in the house and all very relaxed. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We stayed in Myriam and Nicola's beautiful house for less than a week. A great environment for cycling. The nearby Albi was an experience, and Toulouse is not too far away either. House is great, wonderful garden with nice views. Myriam and Nicolas are such likeable hosts, live right next door and are available at any time. We will be happy to come back.
