A short but intense stay in a very quiet and serene place. The atmosphere was colorful with Halloween decorations and warmed up by the very appreciable hot tub at the end of the day. A few relaxing nights for beautiful days of adventures in the area!

My wife went to Amboise and were fortunate enough to discover this hidden gem of a private holiday home. The privacy and tranquility of the place were nothing short of amazing. It was the ideal setting for a couples' getaway, allowing us to truly disconnect from our everyday routines and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Amboise. My wife was absolutely delighted with the ambiance – the peaceful surroundings offered us a chance to reconnect and enjoy each other's company without any distractions. Of course, the lovely pool added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. My wife and I spent hours lounging by the pool, and relishing the warm sun. It provided the perfect backdrop for creating beautiful memories together.

We enjoyed our stay, the cottage was nice and roomy, true to the photos. Great value for the price. Agnès left plenty of recommendations, which would've been helpful if we didn't already have our itinerary planned. The only restaurant within walking distance was delicious, so that was a plus. I don't know that it would've been convenient if we didn't have our own vehicle. Definitely do your research on public transit if you aren't driving in. If you plan to rent a bike, be prepared for a bit of an uphill. Also worth mentioning because it wasn't clear in the listing: we were provided an absolute minimum of the basics (e.g. not even a full roll of toilet paper, nearly empty bottle of shower gel, tiny amount of olive oil left in the kitchen). For a short stay, you may want to bring your basics from home to avoid having to stock up unnecessarily on items you won't finish during your stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Christophe's home. The house is very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The garden is beautiful and a great place to relax and dine at any time of day. Our children learnt to kayak during our stay. The river is very calm and very safe. It is perfect for children. Christophe is a fantastic host. Very proactive with information, he is kind and is always availale for help if required. Pur cat, Smokey, had a wonderful time, watching ducks and exploring. We would be happy to stay in the future and reccomend to anyone.

What a fabulous place! Such a gorgeous, rural setting and so much room to breathe. The swimming pool was perfect for us and our 3 kids. The ledge at the end was really great for our 2 year old who could just walk and splash. Nicola and Andy were so welcoming, with delicious eggs and a bottle of bubbles left in our fridge. It was so lovely hanging out with them and their two girls, but they also gave us the time and privacy to enjoy the place and pool to ourselves. Bedrooms are large and very comfy, with fans for when hot. The shower was powerful and the rest of the house was perfect for us, English tv if you need, and toys for the kids. There are great lakes nearby and our boys had great fun on the big inflatable course on Lac d'Hommes. Lots of wonderful castles nearby, and we saw a great contemporary art exhibition at Olivier Debre in Tours. We also did a fabulous hack, Western riding at Cowboy Legend. Thoroughly recommend! Excellent stay. The accommodation is beautiful, the place is peaceful. Big plus for the laundry area in case of long stays. Karine and her husband are accessible, friendly and responsive hosts. A great place!

Nice little quiet house with stunning views of the Loire and quick access to the various castles in the area. Murielle and Thierry were very responsive and available. We'll be happy to go back!

If you are looking for an atypical accommodation, full of good surprises, in the heart of a small natural vegetation beautifully guided by Laurent and witness to all the riches of soul of the master of the premises, then you must come here! In addition, this Cottage is ideally located for discovering, within a maximum of 40 km, a wide range of activities: bike tours, forest, zoo, castles, small characteristic villages... and Laurent is not short of good advice. Not living on the premises, we did not meet him directly... and yet we feel like we know him as his presence permeates the accommodation and guided us throughout the stay. His family perfectly ensures the welcome on site, with remarkable kindness. What more can I say: come and see for yourself!! Françoise and Patrice

The cottage is an enchanting place, very beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately we had a problem with the start of the fire, our fault, quickly circumscribed, and the owner remained very quiet and friendly.

La Petite Vigne is a perfect spot to visit Amboise. We stayed for three days and enjoyed being able to walk into town (10 minutes) and enjoyed the sights of Amboise as well as its downtown cafes and bistros. It made a great base for day trips to vineyards and chateaus of the Eastern Loire. Everything we could want was included and provided for a wonderful stay

A favorite for this small cottage full of charm. Estate with several cottages with plenty of amenities: outdoor pool and indoor pool, tennis court, ping pong table, giant chess game... A lovely welcome, Aline is a responsive host with lots of useful tips about the area and possible activities. Please note that the condiments are not provided in the kitchen (salt pepper, spice oil, etc.), remember to bring them!

We spent New Years Eve here and he a wonderful time. The building has been lovingly restored. It has excellent insulation and the amenities are great. We spent the weekend walking in the grounds, in front of the fire and cooking—the kitchen is great!

Our stay went perfectly! The house and garden are superb and are a real haven of peace to rest and enjoy Touraine. A big thank you to David and Vincent who are very welcoming and caring hosts, everything was perfect!

Great stay in this beautiful environment. We really enjoyed the place and were able to enjoy the garden and terrace under the sun. The very clean place matches the description and is very suitable for a couple with 1 child. The owner was very proactive, flexible, and welcoming! We'll be back again if that goes on!
