what a beautiful home and surroundings, I mean you are in an apple orchard…WE loved it! the home is clean and just enough for a getaway! we took sarah’s recommendation and visited folks run country store and it is a gem! we also visited the farmer’s daughter in capon bridge, wv…an hour and fifteen minutes away…but worth it! it is a butcher shop; they make sandwiches, sell small selection of groceries, spices, veggies, and ice creams! they have the VERY best cheeseburger I have ever had! it is a beautiful scenic mountain, backroads drive. we are semi-local but both agreed we will return to stay but are def returning for peaches in the summer and apples in the fall! thank you sarah for being a five star host, we are refreshed!

Good morning! I was the groom and the groomsmen also stayed there. It was fantastic a fantastic area to do photos and very laid back.

This was a special grandma & grandson trip designed to make my 10-year old feel special and make lifetime memories. LaVaun and James have prepared a lovely space that delivers peace and quiet, and a sense of being at home. The Springhouse is well equipped and quite comfortable. We were welcomed upon arrival by James and Blue, a sweet and friendly farm dog. We soon met LaVaun and were invited to share the backyard and enjoy watching the sheep and cows. This was the perfect "basecamp" for us to explore Luray Caverns, attractions in Harrisonburg, and Dinosaur Land. Our favorite things about the Springhouse were waking up to the sheep grazing right outside our windows while eating breakfast and daily escorts by Blue. The Springhouse may be one of my most favorite rentals and I would definitely consider a return trip here. "Thank you" to the Janney family for a wonderful stay!

Katie was great and so was her husband. Both very friendly and very helpful. Their little cottage is very cozy comfortable and convenient. We highly recommend it and hope to go again.
