Beachfront holiday rentals in Tofino

What a perfectly charming place to stay and get away from the big city. It had everything I needed. I spent four days wandering the beaches and hiking the local trails in the off-season. After a day in the elements, it was a treat to come back to this cozy little loft, turn on the fireplace and use the jetted tub with all of the wonderful bath products Gabriel has available for guests. The morning started with complimentary locally roasted coffee from the Foggy Bean. The Ucluelet Brewing Company was a five-minute walk up the road in case I didn't feel like cooking, or driving. Will I be back? You bet I will! Thanks, Gabriel, for being such a friendly and responsive host.

We loved our stay in Kristen's place - good proximity to the grocery store & restaurants, and close to the lighthouse loop. Easy to find and private, the glass doors that someone else mentioned being a downfall were not an issue for us (and because of them we got to see some deer!). The hot tub was a little hard to find because our first time we went looking in the dark (it's in the deck, with a cover with wood the same colour as the deck itself), but Kristen clarified and the next day we found it and enjoyed having access to it.

Lovely stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting Tofino area. Private pathway to beach, amazing!

We would absolutely stay at Kevin’s again. Very comfortably fit 5 adults and a dog. Everything was very clean and tidy including the hot tub. Although our weekend was very wet, we felt relaxed with the comfort of our home away from home! There are plenty of games to choose from, it’s a short drive to town and close by restaurants and the local brewery. We didn’t get to enjoy the sunrise due to the weather but the view is gorgeous and peaceful despite that. We loved the open concept especially the spacious and equipped kitchen, which made cooking very easy and enjoyable. Decent beds too! These pictures don’t do the place justice!!! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Kevin.

We had a lovely stay, the place was very clean and in a great location. It had everything we needed for our stay.

Jay has put in a lot of effort into the Pacific Surf Cabin. It's proximity to the Wild Pacific Trail was one of the reason's I booked it. Jay was quick to respond to questions regarding check-in, check-out times. We brought all of our groceries, not knowing what would be open in March. Full size fridge and a oven made for easy meal preparation. The open concept main floor was great for visiting and great light during the day. We utilized both beds, the main floor pull-out sofa and upstairs bed; we both had comfortable sleeps. It was a rainy Vancouver Island weekend in March, so we really appreciated the gas fireplace!

Marie's place was super cozy with a great view of the mountains and water. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after spending the day hiking and exploring. Would love to stay again soon!

Beautiful and walkable. Love this location and was able to share with aging parents, sister and hubby. So spacious and well equipped. Will be back.

Such a beautiful oasis on the beach! We loved our stay and the place felt just like home but better. Definitely would come back and would move in there if I had the opportunity!!! Also we appreciated the eco friendlyness of the place with the handsoap, shampoo, compost and recycling!! Thanks Emily :)

Justine went out of her way to make our stay lovely! She left us a sweet care package full of goodies and even brought extra blankets because my eldest was ill with a cold! Communication was quick and easy and I will definitely be re-booking this absolute gem of a place...mille merci Justine!

Fantastic stay, a home from home with everything you could need. Tanis was an excellent host, really helpful and responsive! We loved big beach for sunset, jiggers fish and chips and surfing in Tofino

This place is incredible and the hosts are great. It's basically a mother in law suite, attached to the side of the main house. The views are incredible. As others have mentioned - the minor details in the unit are well thought out. Now I have to build our future house based off this style, according to my wife LOL

Very clean, comfortable, modern, spacious and well equipped apartment above garage of host's home. Location is excellent, very quiet and only a short drive to downtown Tofino and can walk to beautiful Chesterman Beach in less then 10 minutes. Hosts are very responsive. Excellent value.

We had such a lovely stay in this cozy, well equipped and relaxing cabin! This place is probably the first where I have been very pleased with the sharpness and quality of the knives! So appreciated because we do a lot of cooking. The soaker tub at the window is heaven, always lots of hot water. The cabin has such a nice feel to it and a wonderful view. It felt private and was always quiet even with neighbours close by. Bryan was proactive in giving us little bits of details about our stay. We would totally stay here again.

We were hosted by Bryan, he provided us with clear and timely instructions, very responsive and friendly. The place was clean, beds were comfortable and although the kitchen was small, it had all our family needed for our week stay. Nights were quiet with the sound of the ocean helping you drift to sleep. The decks were spacious and we couldn’t ask for a better view. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen although small had everything we needed. We walked to the WPT right from our cabin, it is excellently located, just be mindful it’s a bit of a haul from the parking lot if you have lots of stuff with you. That being said the way up from the parking was well lit and it wasn’t particularly difficult. Overall a great place for some nature walks, peace and quiet away from the daily hustle of the city. Will definitely book again.

Spent Christmas here with my family. Connor made sure we had everything we needed and had very clear instructions for check-in and check out. Location was great as it’s a few min drive to the lighthouse, and a few min drive to town. Would rent again!

We loved our quiet, relaxing weekend stay at the Tofino View House! Everything was exactly as pictured, and while there was plenty of room to stretch out it was still such a cozy space to spend a few windy and rainy days. Staying on the inlet side of Tofino was such a different experience- we especially loved how private the property felt, while still having such easy access to the beaches and town. Thank you for having us and our dogs, we hope to be back!

Had a family get together here and everyone was very happy with the accommodations and the location. Great for storm watching and had several wildlife sightings.

Just spent an amazing weekend at The Spot. The home was everything we expected and more with serene forest views out every window. Tons of room for the 6 of us and the location was perfect, a short 5 min walk to Cox Bay and 10 min drive to town. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and spa like bathrooms. There's lots of games and books for a rainy day in, warm hottub perfect for warming up after surfing and a great firepit. Anders is a great host, quick to respond to a couple of questions we had and clear instructions for check in, out, etc. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. What a great setting in a rustic cabin overlooking the ocean. Listening to the waves all day was so soothing and relaxing. Great hiking trails nearby and about 3-5 minutes from "Downtown Ucluelet" for groceries, restaurants and brewery. Plenty of kitchen amenities if you decide to cook and hang out at home. We will be back.

Beautifully rustic, but comfortable, style beach house. The house is right on North Chesterman beach, with gorgeous views of the swell from the living space. The house is well supplied with everything you would need for the weekend. I was pleased with Danielle’s attentiveness. We were excited that she messaged us about an early check in, which we greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!
