You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. Buses run every 15 minutes, and you can access tourist attractions such as Kenrokuen Garden and Omicho Market for a fare of 200 yen each way. Please use this accommodation as a base to enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa efficiently. During the day, Higashi Chaya District and Shukei-cho Chaya District are crowded with tourists, but the number of people begins to decrease from dusk, and it is quiet at night. Surrounded by the nature of the Noto area, it's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto (about 1 hour by car which is recommended) making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the tatami room or the cozy open space. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.
