As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba and Kamikochi, you can stay comfortably from one night to consecutive nights. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). As this is a private rental accommodation, you can use it as if it were your own home. However, the shop on the ground floor may be open on Fridays and Saturdays, and the host may occasionally stay there. We also accept pets, and you can bring them when you eat on the ground floor.However, general customers also come to the restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays, so if your dog is barking excessively, we will ask you to keep it in the cage on the third floor. The ground-floor bistro offers more than 100 types of drinks, including a variety of wines, original cocktails, craft beers, craft gins and whisky. À la carte dishes are available on Fridays and Saturdays. You also need to book in advance for the course meals, but they are highly recommended. "Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance.
