It is recommended not only for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, but also as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Currently, accommodation is available from 29/6 to 3/7, which is when you can see many fireflies nearby. Why not enjoy the new green leaves, BBQs and saunas in quiet Shinshu before the summer holidays? A convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe. We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays. The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably for multiple nights. You can get here by public transport, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are coming by train, there may not be any taxis, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Akashina Station and Shinano-Matsukawa Station. We can arrange paid pick-up and drop-off to Matsumoto Station, Nagano Station, and the Sawando Bus Terminal, etc.

In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Enjoy Takayama's history to the fullest in an excellent location. <Building and Hida master carpenters> Built 145 years ago by a master craftsman from Hida, this building has been revived here by modern craftsmen. "Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance.
