Location was phenomenal. Lots of stairs, but you’re rewarded with a great view. Excellent communication from hosts.

Great place to stay in Lisbon. It’s right in the centre of the city close to everything. Joana is a great host very responsive and friendly. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need. It’s spacious. Well decorated and very clean. Easy access from the street with modern lift. No keys are required as the doors open with a digital code. Recommend it 100%

We stayed for 2 months the apartment was perfect in its location and facilities, including regular cleaning and safe parking for our car. However at this time of year it can be cold and there were only some small electric heaters in the apartment. But Luis is a very good host, he met us with food and wine on the first night and continued to check on us throughout our stay. He went out of his way to find me a swimming pool nearby, to give us some extras we needed, and his recommendations for places to eat were fantastic, we tried them all and he brought us out the last night! Thank you Luis!

Beautiful spacious place. As the other reviews mentioned it could be a little loud for light sleepers at the end of the night but the location made it worth it. There was a concierge for the apartments that helped us book a Fado dinner as well as a tuk tuk tour and that was super helpful. He took care of everything, we just had to show up on time! I'd stay here again next time I visit Portugal.

Fantastic place.! Very spacious and very clean. We stayed 4 nights. The hosts made us feel welcomed and were very responsive. The place is close to lots of restaurants. Safe location.

Really well situated amongst the old streets that are littered with cafes and restaurants and a short walk from the bustling viewpoints that look over the city. Lots of authentic charm and the longer we stayed and explored, it became more and more clear how well located we were and the views really are wonderful. Much of what we did was within sensible walking distance. Failing that, the train stop is nearby or an Uber is never far away. The apartment was easy to find and access thanks to clear instructions and we were given a wealth of information for things to do and local recommendations which were gratefully received. The apartment is a good size and well-stocked with everything that we needed. Lots of steps up to the apartment but after walking around the steep, old streets of Lisbon, you don’t notice them! There was the smell of smoke from elsewhere in the apartment block but there’s nothing that can be done about that.

The location of the apartment is exactly as I had hoped - in a peaceful, quiet area and within a walkable distance to local supermarkets (including Aldi & Lidl). There were a couple of incidents (one of which was totally unforeseeable), but both of these were dealt with immediately by ‘Victoria’ who manages the property for Julien. Victoria was excellent. The only slight negative, as I’m a very light sleeper, was the thinness of the dividing walls. You can hear the neighbours moving around. They are extremely quiet after about 8:00pm, but when the family gets up at 6:45am to get the kids to school, the noise starts. It does, however, go quiet again about an hour later. If you sleep like a log, this won’t be an issue for you. Other than that, the surrounding area is stunning. Access to the North to places such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Peniche is easy (with a hire car). The same applies to Setubal and Sesimbra to the South.

Great stay. Bruno and Rita are welcoming and responsive hosts. Beach and sea visible from the house. Comfortable bedding. Beautiful well-equipped house, 5 minutes' walk to the beach. There are 6 of us and we recommend these hosts and this house.

We had a great time - check in was very easy and we met Sofia when we arrived. She gave a lot of suggestions what to see and where to go. The apartment is located in a quiet street but very accessible with public transport (we didn’t have a car, but parking seems to be limited). The house is lovely, very cozy, convenient for 4 people. There are two additional single beds on the second floor in the open area to accommodate two more and a sofabed downstairs which we didn’t use. The stairs are very steep, which may be a concern for people with reduced mobility or when hauling larger luggages. We didn’t have any problems and had a wonderful experience!

We stayed at the villa as group of 14 on a hen do, the house was stunning and exceeded expectations! It was a great space for a large group and the garden & view were amazing. Antonio was super helpful and friendly, and even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy 😊 10/10 would thoroughly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. Joao is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is as advertised and it's a show every day to open the door of the house on the ocean. Surf lesson in front of the house, very good neighboring restaurant. I recommend her house.

Great unspoiled views onto the Atlantic

The entire staff at Duques Villa is amazing! friendly, easy to communicate with. the property is fantastic, a beautifully restored historic villa in Lisbon that was once the residence of royalty! You will be treated as such, while you enjoy the amenities and marvel at every touch at Villa Duques!

I highly recommend!!! For those looking for a quieter stay in order to relax at home is perfect, and you can still enjoy the beautiful balcony where a spectacular sun is picked up either in the morning or in the afternoon. It is very close to the village and I myself did one or two walks there without any problem (15 or 20 min), I advise you to go home bet on a bolt or uber (for the village it is easy because it is down eheheh), however if you have by car it is perfect. Elisette and Guilherme are spectacular people and are always ready to help, very patient and helpful so if you have any problems, they help a lot🙂🙂🙂

Very well equipped Studio in the park of the nations with parking space.

We spent a month in the apartment and felt very comfortable. It is well equipped and ideal for a longer stay. The internet was stable and fast – especially important to us as we work remotely. The area is quiet and modern, outside of downtown, but with everything you need right nearby: Lidl and Pingo Doce are within walking distance. Also the large shopping mall Vasco da Gama is about 15 minutes walking distance. The transport connection is excellent – from the nearby "Oriente" station you can easily get anywhere, for example to Sintra. A bus stop with direct connection to the city is even closer. Overall, we were very please with our stay!

Patricia was an incredible host. She explained everything we needed to know about how to navigate the building, and the various exits to the beach and street, etc. The location was fabulous. Incredible beach. Lovely place. The only thing was that the shutters rattle quite wildly at night, when the wind picks up. I recommend keeping them up or else very hard to sleep. If she had some curtains that would perhaps be nice, as we wanted to block out the 6am sun, but on the other hand, with a view like that, there is a lot of incentive to get up at 7am!!

The perfect place for a Lisbon get away. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of where you want to be and, surprisingly, so quiet at night. We slept so well considering you’re in the heart of the city. The host was so helpful both before arrival and before it was time for us to leave. They recommended some amazing locations to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can’t recommend this place enough - sublime.
