Chalet Bärenegg: a small pearl on Lake Thun

Chalet Bärenegg is wonderfully embedded in the landscape of the Bernese lakes and mountains. The bed & breakfast Land-Charme is located in a historic, approx. 300-year-old house in Cortébert. The former apartment with a smokehouse was lovingly rebuilt with lots of natural materials. The location is ideal for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet and is the starting point for hikes to the many Metairies of the Grand Chasseral or walks in the nearby forest. The various sights and cozy restaurants in the region complete your stay.

Small simple apartment

A cozy gem, not far from the hustle and bustle of work. Nestled in lush green Jura meadows in the summer or fairytale white snowy landscape in winter. The apartment is in an old converted farmhouse. The farmhouse is secluded in a small hamlet but still close to the cantonal road and not far from the larger towns of Tramelan and St. Imier. Arriving by car is recommended, although there is a bus stop nearby but with a thin timetable.
