Skansen cabin field sits right at the top of Trysil Mountain. Trysil has all the attractions you can think of. In summer, mountain hiking and biking in terrain, mountains, and trails are the focus. In winter it is ski in/out to Norway's largest and best alpine skiing, as well as ski slopes right outside the door. Bike elorado in summer with the bike lift, Magic Moose and the mountain run 100 m away. Ski lodge mountain restaurant is located 150m from the cabin. Nice trails to go cross-country skiing, 1600m long Akebakke, alpine slopes,Snowmobile trips with Guide, Bike track,frisbee golf, mountain hikes and many fishing opportunities.1 ,9 km from the cabin if you drive the road to the Alpinsenteret, 300m to the hill via ski trails. 50 min drive to Trysilfjellet ski center, and direction Sweden it is 50 min drive to Sälen and 29 min to Stöten.

Walking distance to Radisson Blu Resort with spas, restaurants and activities. The ski bus stops below the cabin, with quick access to the lifts and the alpine resort.

Access to and from the slopes (or MTB in Summer) is right next to the cabin. So no car or ski bus needed. The cabin is newly renovated with a modern, well-equiped kitchen and bathroom. The cabin is heated electrically and has an addional wood stove for extra heat and cosyness.

There is Norway's largest alpine resort. There are also Trysil Turistsenter and many restaurants. In summer and autumn it is a perfect place for an active holiday with cycling, climbing, golfing or hiking. Trysil center has a shopping center with many shops and pharmacies.

Trysiltunet- in the middle of Trysil

This apartment is in the middle of nowhere if you want many amenities within walking distance. Alpine slopes, cross country stadium, climbing park, bike lanes, golf course, swimming pool, spa, apres ski and bowling are all in the immediate vicinity. It is perfect for a large family of 6. It can get somewhat cramped with 8 adults, would not recommend as two have to share 120 cm bed.

Welcome to our cabin! The cottage is newly built in December 2023 and has generous open plan living spaces. Dining for 12 persons and sofas in front of a wood stove, all with a nice view of the mountains. If the children want to be by themselves, there is also a TV and sofa upstairs. After a day on the hill, you can enjoy the sauna in the house and jacuzzi just outside.
