Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Tulum

Yep...the other reviewers were right. Amazing superhosts...easy to find and access...all listed amenities; aplenty. It sets you in (to the downtown area) easily. Later I will move elsewhere (larger) but it's great for 1-2 people. Unfortunately, I saw THREE dogs next door and my heart sank thinking the noise is going to just ruin it all. I gave it some time and for being 3 dogs they were NOT that bad; mostly quiet and just when I was going to mention it sometimes, they stopped. Fortunately (jinxproof), that person and the dogs moved anyways after ~2 weeks. It's actually pretty quiet around here mostly. Super cozy place. I'm using the bike a LOT. Unfortunately; the internet went out for an UNGODLY 6.7 days and I'm an online entrepreneur/nomad so it's like lifeblood. I know this was not the hosts fault whatsoever but they did their part AND after the main power grid for it was fixed at 6 days for neighbors, but this wasn't Francisco was a rockstar and hired someone to get on-site-Thx!

The stay was very pleasant, the host was always attentive and had all the disposition, the place very pleasant I recommend it and without hesitation I would return again.

This was a fantastic place. My husband and I came down for a quick visit and had a wonderful time here. Everything was perfect down to the privacy, the outdoor seating, beachfront. I loved that I could open all the front doors and allow the constant ocean breeze to roll through the house. There were great restaurants and shops within walking distance from the beach. Our host very communicated with us from the time of booking till we left. He gave us suggestions for different places to eat and things to do. The staff was amazing! Every day the cleaning service would come by and tidy up the sand and the salt covered windows to keep a beautiful view all the time. Reed our host set up a Couples massage one evening at the villa that was so good. This was worth every penny, and so much better than being in the resorts.

The home itself was fantastic. We went with two families, including kids ages 6-9. The layout of the space was perfect and very conducive to what we were looking for. It was very clean and the air conditioning cooled down rooms quickly. The hosts were incredibly responsive and very helpful. We absolutely loved hanging out at the house. My only knock, which has been briefly mentioned in other reviews, is that the final road to get to the house is a washed out dirt road with significant potholes. Obviously not the responsibility of the owners but our rental car sedans took a bit of a beating driving the 1+ km to and from the house anytime we needed to go into town or the beach. Lastly, as you'd imagine in a jungle setting, be prepared to make friends with different types of insects 😁 Overall, the place was great!

We really enjoyed our stay at Yaremis's place, as we felt right at home with its cozy, clean and homey feel. The place was in a nice area where it was walkable to the city center while bike ridable to the ruins. Having a kitchen to cook and store food was extremely helpful. Definitely recommend!

My group and I loved our stay at Blue Deer Residences. The house is as pictured- it felt luxurious and peaceful. Our group of 7 felt like we had plenty of personal space and great communing spaces. Lesley is super responsive and helpful; the whole team definitely helped make our trip relaxing, special, and just what we needed in a vacation.

5/5 Stars — A Dream Stay in Tulum! Casa Areca was everything we hoped for! The location is unbeatable—just a quick 10-minute drive to Tulum’s stunning sandy beaches, yet tucked away in the serene Aldea Zama community. We felt completely safe with 24/7 security. The villa itself is beyond beautiful. The indoor-outdoor flow is perfect for soaking up the Tulum vibe, and the lush greenery surrounding the private pool creates a relaxing, tropical escape. The complimentary concierge service and house manager were excellent and really elevated the experience!

We gave a couple of laps to find the house for ourselves, but they took care of us super fast and very friendly. Thank you very much for everything

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house was beautiful, with a lovely pool that was perfect for relaxing. The location was excellent, just a short distance from great restaurants. Having a bicycle available was a wonderful bonus, allowing us to explore the area with ease. The rooftop terrace was a highlight, offering a cozy spot to unwind in the evenings. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely rent this place again!

The apartment is very nice, but at the check-in time there was no receptionist and if you ask him he doesn't know anything, and many leaflets at the entrance to the garden and the pool.

Minerva has been a wonderful host! Location is convenient and amenities is as listed. The building has a gym and a longer pool as well.

If I could give more stars, I would. This house was very comfortable clean even better than the photos. Will definitely recommend.

Place was beautiful. Birds chirping in the morning. Really comfy bed and beautiful shower/bathroom. Close walk to beautiful restaurants market shops and coffee and most of all felt really safe and well looked after as a solo female traveller in this area. Geraldina was also super responsive to questions and offered great local activity suggestions, and staff around accom were super polite and helpful. Situated right next to Hotel with daily yoga and a short drive to the beach. Would stay again.

Great top-floor unit with lots of space and amazing jungle views! We enjoyed looking at the colors of the sky every evening. We had an amazing experience here and wish we had booked it for longer. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, hot water and A/C worked great as well as super fast, consistent Wi-Fi. The complex feels safe with 24-hour concierge service and a charming courtyard that was just refreshed while we were there. Walking the dog at night around the building was also enjoyable and the streets around are paved and trailed with greenery. This is our 2nd time staying at Brava Towers and we’ll gladly be back here again in the furniture! Our host was very pleasant to work with and very responsive.

Our stay at Diego’s and Marinas place was so calm and relaxed. There was no difficulty in getting into the room and they gave me any information that I needed from the very beginning. The room was clean and the bed SUPER comfy ! Would recommend to anybody who wants an affordable and nice place to stay while they explore tulum

Place was amazing! Very cozy. Loved every detail. It was insanely quiet, my friends who live there were even surprised on how serene it was with all the usual construction noise going on. Each casita is evenly spaced. The high ceilings were game changer! The beds were actually really comfortable. I would say bring better lighting if you are a girly wanting to get all ready because once the sun goes down it’s a little harder to see your face clearly in the little mirror they give you! (There’s a full length mirror, bathroom mirror, and a little desk tabletop mirror in each hut)

Gorgeous space with plenty of room, amazing lighting, a fantastic location, perfect pool and outdoor space, and incredibly kind hosts. I love the walkability to restaurants, and the proximity to cenotes. We’ve been coming to Tulum for years and we will always be staying in La Valeta. Get yourself an ATV to make the unpaved roads fun, walk to get a coffee at Verdeda (a perfect coffee shop and bakery around the corner), spend the morning by the pool, explore the centoes in the afternoon, and have yourself a wonderful time.

2nd time staying at this apartment! Really peaceful,quiet and private. Now that the road( Calle 29)to apartment is paved makes the location even more convenient. I like that the apartment is close to the beach and downtown Tulum. 100% recommended this place.

The home is beautiful and located in a safe area. Rosa was very responsive and knowledgeable about many local spots, which was helpful. However, we were unaware of how frequent and lengthy power outages can be in Mexico. The longest outage we experienced lasted about six hours, which unfortunately affected our plans. For example, after returning from an excursion, the power went out, making it impossible to shower—this ended up being a frustrating inconvenience. Additionally, we encountered two snakes near the pool, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the outdoor space. Thankfully, Rosa quickly called someone to remove them, but it was still an unsettling experience. Overall, while the home and Rosa’s hospitality were great, the power outages and unexpected wildlife encounters impacted our stay.

Alex & Raph made our stay very welcoming and made sure that we were comfortable at all times. The accommodation was beautiful and more than enough space for my four friends & I. Definitely recommend this stay!

Just need to fumigate since we found 2 spiders inside and an alacran I say as I bring little ones I'm worried only that part goes

I really enjoyed my stay, I stayed 6 weeks and was able to explore Tulum Playa del Carmen and Porto Morales . Cozy house was great, I always felt safe and secure. The neighborhood is very quiet and quaint, I was able to enjoy some of the tiny restaurants and was quite pleased. The location is great and was able to walk to the ruins, grocery stores and Centro. Ashley was a "Rock Star" at time I felt she responded within seconds of my queries.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the casa! Brigitte, our host met us at the house and showed us everything. We arrived on Christmas Day and she picked up some grocery essentials as we were not sure if stores would be open. She was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond and resolve any minor issues that came up and provided lots of help and local knowledge. The house was immaculate and walkable to coffee shops and cafes and a small market. We had a wonderful meal at The Orchid House, a hotel and restaurant right next door. The stay included a mid-week cleaning. We took advantage of the chef service twice. Chef Jesus and his assistant came to the villa and made a wonderul surf and turf Christmas dinner for us, complete with amazing cocktails. They also did a taco night for us at the house. Parking was easy. This was by far the best service we have had at a rental. and we have stayed at numerous AirBnBs throughout the US and Europe. Highly recommended! Many thanks!
