Historic Tower with Views of the Lake and Countryside

Take in the stunning view over Lake Trasimeno. Nestled in the Umbrian and Tuscan countryside, in a protected area known for its natural scenic beauty, this tower built using reclaimed materials features a private garden, barbecue, and pergola. The swimming pool is open from 15 May to 30 September and it is shared with other our guests. The tower is created out of the restoration of an old abandoned stable situated in the centre of a small countryside hamlet called Sanguineto. This place takes its name from the famous bloody battle of 217 BC fought between the Roman army and the Carthaginian army (led by Hannibal). Today this area is classified as one of outstanding natural beauty, where traditional farming methods are still very much in evidence, the major crops being olives and wine grapes. The property have been luxuriously finished using traditional building methods and materials combined with the latest technology. It has its own independent liquid propane gas (LPG) central-heating system, with the boiler located outside the building, as well as its own electricity. A pergola, and a private garden giving out onto the surrounding landscape, offering a magnificent view over Lake Trasimeno, complete the building. The tower has two floors, one bedroom, a living room with kitchenette, one bathroom, private garden, and pergola. Swimming-pool. The tower and the private garden with sun loungers, barbecue, pergola with table and chairs, reserved parking space. The pool is shared with the other guests of Borgo Sanguineto. The area of Lake Trasimeno offers the opportunity to visit many medieval villages. It is also close to several historical cities, such as Siena, Perugia, Arezzo, Assisi, Cortona, Rome, and Florence. The tower has a private parking. is advisable to have a means of transport available to move.

This small house is perfect for couples. It is also possible to accommodate a child with a maximum height of 1.40m. There are no stairs or other architectural barriers. Each house is independent and equipped with every comfort. In the large 1,000-square-meter garden, there is a 12x6 in-ground marble swimming pool with whirlpool and adjacent hot shower, a barbecue area with gazebo, and parking. You can take walks in the woods along the stream and pick seasonal fruits and vegetables from the garden. Our house is adjacent to the three apartments we rent. So our guests can express any need and ask us for advice on what our area offers. The hill on which Podere San Bartolomeo stands offers peace, silence and contact with nature that perhaps those who live in the city may have lost. By car. Nearest airport Florence 32 km away. An English bathtub in the double bedroom. Perfect home for bikers with a bicycle garage. Outside, a large fully fenced garden and an exclusive patio where breakfast is served. Barbecue available. Our little place, Il Cubetto, inaugurated with the 2020 season, stands in full Tuscan country and is particularly distinctive because of its absolute exclusivity: only two studio apartments within our 7000 sqm of garden planted with many fruit trees, with great attention to any detail. Our guests, a maximum of two per studio apartment, have the use of a salt-water infinity swimming pool overlooking the valley. Depending on the car they drive, they can park next to the cottage or beside the road.
