A great private location with beautiful views of nature, you will feel relaxed and at ease in this beautiful area. Look out for the Northern Lights/Aurora with no houses on the north side of the road to block any view of them. The home has a comfortable queen bed. Cook on the gas range with all the necessary cooking utensils available. The house has Wi-Fi, TV / Amazon Fire Stick to watch your favorite shows. Ask the rental agency about this before renting from Anchorage!

Northern Lights views from bed!

We built the Rocky Top AirBnB as an Aurora-viewing, winter-loving house: its walls are a foot thick, with radiant floors heated by an environmentally-friendly vegetable-oil boiler. At night, watch the Aurora from bed or the large north-facing windows. The large couch is a comfortable place to watch the low winter sun traverse the mountains to the south during the day.

Red Dog Room

A cozy, comfortable spot to use as a base camp for your explorations of North Pole and Chena. With proximity to the town center and the Chena Lakes Recreation area, the Red Dog Room still feels secluded and private and has direct access to trails. The room has private entry, a small cooking area with a table and a private bathroom.
