KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. This room is for a small number of people (1-2 people) and pets are allowed. Must see if you are looking for a reasonably priced pet-friendly room for a short stay! This is a valuable pet-friendly room in the area. This is located on the premises of Michishio and is a separate building from the main building. You don't need to worry about other guests, such as the noise of pets. However, since it is "only a room", the bath and toilet are in the main building, but the room has its own refrigerator, microwave, pot, and dryer for a comfortable stay. The room is accessible by opening the door from the parking space, which is very convenient for loading and unloading luggage. There is also an outdoor shower right next to it, but it is shared with other guests, so please refrain from using it if you are sensitive to the sound of running water. (Not many people use the outdoor shower at night...) Perfect for a walk on the beach with your dog! Pet fee is 2,200 yen per night per pet, payable separately on site. (We can accommodate up to 2 medium-sized dogs) The room is non-smoking. Please smoke in the courtyard or in the smoking area at the entrance of the main building.

The price is the same for 1 or 2 people, and an additional charge per person will be incurred from the 3rd person. The first floor is the living room and the second floor is the bedroom. Size: 108.5 ㎡ (1st floor 85 ㎡, 2nd floor 23.5 ㎡) If you need more than one bedroom, there are 2 Japanese-style rooms with 10 tatami mats in the back building (with separate entrances, toilets, and verandas), so you can use a total of 3 bedrooms. Please let us know at the time of booking. A total of 160 m² of space is available with an additional 51.5 m². For breakfast, we provide coffee, bread, butter, and eggs from Oniwa Farm. It is a safe and convenient location within walking distance of the limited express station, shopping district, and the famous "Zenigata sand painting". At the end of the garden, there is a large river and the famous mountain of "Sora no Torii", where you can enjoy a pleasant walk along the river in the morning, walk around the city during the day, and enjoy the garden lights at night.
