I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the host, who took the time to show me around. The apartment is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal, close to shops and public transport, which makes it easy to get around. The bedding is comfortable and I slept very well. The kitchen is fully equipped, which allowed me to prepare a few meals without any worries. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I won't hesitate to come back on my next visit!

Fantastic location in the historic centre and wonderful little appt in an ancient, restored building. The kitchen is tiny and there was no washing machine or easy way to make coffee. Courtyard directly outside was lovely to sit in at night. Melissa is very responsive and there is private parking nearby. Saturday market in the town square was excellent.

welcome from Daniel friendly. clean and quiet accommodation you just have to plan to arrive from the time mentioned on the listing. Impossible to adjust the temperature of the heater that arrives through a duct from the owners' house. Extra heating of the bathroom present but does not work,otherwise beautiful peaceful environment.

Very nice apartment for a romantic weekend. The accommodation is cozy and carefully decorated. Everything was impeccable. Virginia is a great host. Very pleasant in every way. We would happily stay again! ☺️

This stay was fantastic! It’s about as close as you can get to the center of town without being right on top it. It’s a perfect sanctuary to retreat to after visiting all of the shops or coming back from the Josephine Baker chateau. Communication was fantastic, I would recommend watching a video of how to use this type of washing machine if you are not used to it! 10/10! Thank you for sharing this space with us.

Very nice apartment, bright, very clean, nicely furnished and with all the kitchen necessities. Very quiet area with parking spaces available and free. A 10-minute walk from the city center and the market, and 20 minutes from the stadium (long live rugby!). Yvan is charming, and very responsive and available. We will return without a second thought for our next stop in Brive:-)

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

Our group of 4 adults and 4 children spent a total of 7 nights at Maison Agora. During our stay we thoroughly enjoyed all that Judith’s Maison had to offer including the tastefully decorated rooms full of beautiful details, pictoresque views of the surrounding countryside, heated saltwater swimming pool, functional kitchen with all the amenities you could think of and a play cabinet full of treasures for the kids (the list goes on and on). Additionally Judith and Christine (local host) were really responsive and helpful. Thank you again for a lovely week! We highly recommend Maison Agora to all travellers (5 stars)!

Everything was perfect! Very friendly and accommodating hosts, and large very quiet and well-equipped house with a superb plot, we had a very nice stay, we would recommend it in a second!

Excellent find. Communication with Emily was hassle-free. The house was perfect for our family. The children were delighted to be on the banks of the Dordogne. The village, among the most beautiful in France, is perfect for short family walks.
