Emmanuelle was very communicative before we arrived and during our stay. The yard and view of the river were very nice and the stroll to the bi-weekly market and restaurants were very easy. Overall, Le Bugue is a great jumping off point for the French countryside of the Perigord, but many storefronts of the village appeared vacant.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the host, who took the time to show me around. The apartment is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal, close to shops and public transport, which makes it easy to get around. The bedding is comfortable and I slept very well. The kitchen is fully equipped, which allowed me to prepare a few meals without any worries. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I won't hesitate to come back on my next visit!

Fantastic location in the historic centre and wonderful little appt in an ancient, restored building. The kitchen is tiny and there was no washing machine or easy way to make coffee. Courtyard directly outside was lovely to sit in at night. Melissa is very responsive and there is private parking nearby. Saturday market in the town square was excellent.

Impossible to adjust the temperature of the heater that arrives through a duct from the owners' house. Extra heating of the bathroom present but does not work,otherwise beautiful peaceful environment.

Very nice apartment for a romantic weekend. The accommodation is cozy and carefully decorated. Everything was impeccable. Virginia is a great host. Very pleasant in every way. We would happily stay again! ☺️

Very nice apartment, bright, very clean, nicely furnished and with all the kitchen necessities. Very quiet area with parking spaces available and free. A 10-minute walk from the city center and the market, and 20 minutes from the stadium (long live rugby!). Yvan is charming, and very responsive and available. We will return without a second thought for our next stop in Brive:-)

The hamlet of the castle we stayed in has been renovated with great taste and respect for history. Mia is a great host available, nice and smiling. The comfort of the cottage is of very high quality . Very quiet and nice services . Close to all the most beautiful places . For lovers of calm and nature .

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

We spent the Holy Week in Noémi's accommodation and it was fantastic, the house was spotless, everything clean and tidy, with everything you need of crockery and kitchenware, the comfortable beds, the spacious bathroom and the living room very nice, the outside is very large and very careful, with more than enough space for our b***h to have a great time, nearby is Le Bugue, a town with all the amenities and half an hour from many places of interest. The deal with Noémi was quick and any questions or issues can be resolved quickly. A highly recommended house.

We were two families and had a great stay, despite the bad weather. The pool was not open but we could not have used it. The kitchen is hyper equipped, there are games and board games, suggested activities, large garden, huge library, … Several bakeries and shops within 15 minutes. The bedrooms are all cannons. Everything is of very good taste. Communication with Judith was very fluid. The area is beautiful with bike rides in the area, castles and picturesque towns. Everything was perfect! Very friendly and accommodating hosts, and large very quiet and well-equipped house with a superb plot, we had a very nice stay, we would recommend it in a second!

Gite in a beautiful peaceful Saladin house. Very pleasant setting with rabbits to admire cool in the garden. The interior of the cottage is as described. The rooms are spacious and cool, which is nice in summer. Thank you very much Mark for your hospitality, your sightseeing tips and the bottle of rosé.

The place is beautiful! Even more than the pictures show. The pool was such a hit - specially on those 38* days. The grounds of the property are very well maintained. Delphine was very responsive and went out of her way to help me when I lost my wallet. Thank you for letting us use your place, it sure is a memory the kids won’t forget about :-)

We just finished our week of vacation in Paul & Elyn's place and it was a very nice week. The accommodation, kitchen, pool access correspond perfectly to the description as well as the photos.
