Cabin holiday rentals in Vestfold og Telemark

We spent a weekend at Kjetil’s place and it was an amazing experience! The cabin is spacious (the rooms are actually bigger than how they look in the pictures), beautiful, complete with everything we needed, and not to mention, the JACUZZI which we enjoyed so much! We booked this place without any comment or reviews from others as this was a new listing back then, and we didn’t regret taking the risk. It was all worth it. Kjetil was very kind to help us with everything we needed, he was easy to communicate with, and the cabin is perfect for a big group like us — three families, with children and a 3-month baby. We’re hoping to come back here for next year’s winter season!

We stayed here in February 2025 for a week to celebrate my wife’s birthday with family. We was a family of 6 adults and a 3 year old. The house was more than big enough for all of us with plenty of room to have our own space. Donata and Lauras were really helpful in the lead up to our stay and whilst we was there, replying within an hour every time! The house was well equipped with everything we needed to make home cooked food. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the week with norefjell ski resort being a 5-10 minute drive away. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home for the week!

The stay at the cottage was super nice, and the location is fantastic. We also got up to the cottage relatively well in winter with front drive and despite the iced path:) The hot tub is great even if you have it a little less private than expected, as there is another cabin right next door. There was also construction work about 100 m away, but you haven't heard from the hut 👍

Fantastic stay, the cabin feels larger than the photos. The view is stunning and the area very calm. Theresa was extremely helpful and nice to deal with, we loved our stay and will hopefully revisit!

From the start, we were very well received. Tomasz was ready to greet us when we arrived, so we were in really safe hands. He just reviewed the amenities with us and everything was really nice! We had an absolutely perfect stay at Tomasz's place and our trip couldn't have been better! We will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful break. The peacefulness of the home surrounded by heavy fallen snow is something we will remember for the rest of our days. It’s was truly wonderful

We had a fantastic stay at this little gem of a cabin. Ann and her husband were incredibly welcoming and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabin itself was cosy, well-equipped, and waiting for us with a warm fire when we arrived—a perfect touch after a long journey. The huskies were a delight! We loved giving them attention, and despite their excitement during the day, they were surprisingly quiet from the cabin at night. We booked the dog sledding experience, and it was absolutely unforgettable—thrilling, well-organised, and a must-do for anyone visiting. Overall, an amazing place to stay, with kind hosts and a truly special experience. Highly recommend!

We had a nice weekend at Vladi's place. There was great communication during the stay and Vladi responded quickly. The cabin looked like the pictures. Recommended

I recommend this place for those of you who want a little cabin trip with my family and pets. This place is very cozy. Me and my son very much enjoy and wish to come back next weekend.

We really enjoyed the time in the small cabin in the farm of Halvard and his family. There was nothing missing. We were provided with warm wool blankets and the heating was sufficient for us. The sauna in the snow was great and despite the snow we were able to reach everything well with our small car. If you want to run cross-country skiing in winter and are looking for a special place, this is the place to be.

A peaceful mountain retreat with stunning Norwegian interior design. The cabin is cozy, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. Perfect for relaxing or exploring nearby trails. Highly recommended for a serene getaway!

We had an amazing stay at Jacob's cabin! It had everything one might need and more and was very cozy. Luxury with proper bathroom and running water, without it went at the expense of the cabin charm. Great ski slopes nearby! We got all the information we needed before arrival and Jacob was very nice and approachable. A perfect stay at an absolutely super cabin. We would gladly come again!

Nice cabin with plenty of space for more! Short distance to the blefjellheisen, where we enjoyed ourselves all day. The cabin was well equipped with what we needed the weekend we rented. We got sufficient info before and during our stay and Kristin and her husband were always available to contact if there was anything we were wondering about. We are happy to rent again!

We enjoyed 46 hours of total tranquility that this slow cabin exudes in the middle of nature. If you're looking for something pure, with no running water, electricity, … this is what you're looking for! Satu responds quickly to questions.

It was wonderful. :) The lake with its own jetty, the forest and especially the silence. Great for driving down and reading a lot!! I'd love to come back :)

This was our first vacation where we used airbnb and are impressed by the possibilities offered. The booked holiday home has already impressed the listing with its seclusion and its natural location. On site, the experience was even more outstanding. The possibility to reach the cabin on foot was only possible with appropriate boots due to the weather. However, the arrival and transport of luggage is no problem with the rowing boat, which is available. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available in the charming cabin. In the end, we had way too much luggage with us. There is no boredom at the house and property. Whether you explore the lake by boat, fish, collect mushrooms or explore the nearby hiking trails. As day trips, we used hiking routes to the top of the highest mountains in southern Norway. Overall, we are 100% satisfied with the holiday. 👌🏻

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

We were there in winter as a couple, so we only used one of the three bedrooms. It is a very nice and big cabin in a quiet location, a lot of natur around, just a few neighbor cabins. There is a beautiful view over the valley and a cross country ski track behind the backyard, and the Norefjell ski close by. If you drive down to Eggedal or Noresund for supermarkets there is a road toll, but that was ok. Communication with Nina and Lodve was very good. We can definitely recommend the cabin.

Great place and beaut view from the terrace. Nearby crosscountry tracks, and only 10 min drive to Slottet. Trygve was always responsive on text and answered immediately. All in all a great stay!

Great cabin in a beautiful location. Absolutely recommended. Due to the short hike to the cabin also a small adventure for our children!

Tanja clearly loves this home. It is styled perfectly and the attetion to detail is beautiful. It has the feel of a 5* hotel with everything you need provided. Tanja is an amazing host. I would love to visit again.

Had a pleasant stay in cottage. Despite the rain, we entertained with darts, maps, swimming, fishing kayaking hiking and more. Because of the weather, burning wood was pleasant. Beautiful location

Incredibly cozy cottage in the middle of the forest, very sheltered and private. Had everything we needed for cooking equipment. Ideal for those looking for a good old-fashioned cabin trip without screens and disturbances. We turned off the cell phones and completely relaxed. Would love to come back!
