We spent a weekend at Kjetil’s place and it was an amazing experience! The cabin is spacious (the rooms are actually bigger than how they look in the pictures), beautiful, complete with everything we needed, and not to mention, the JACUZZI which we enjoyed so much! We booked this place without any comment or reviews from others as this was a new listing back then, and we didn’t regret taking the risk. It was all worth it. Kjetil was very kind to help us with everything we needed, he was easy to communicate with, and the cabin is perfect for a big group like us — three families, with children and a 3-month baby. We’re hoping to come back here for next year’s winter season!

Fantastic stay, the cabin feels larger than the photos. The view is stunning and the area very calm. Theresa was extremely helpful and nice to deal with, we loved our stay and will hopefully revisit!

The cabin was really cute, we got enough wood to keep our fire going for the days we were there. The husky’s were very cute and very excited to see people all the time. The hosts were very nice. The location was also gorgeous with a mountain path right behind the house.

We had a great trip to Knut Erling's cabin and the view of Gaustatoppen was amazing. We would gladly came back!

Very nice cabin with beautiful nature. Clean and tidy, and Vladi responded quickly to questions. We got the peace and quiet we sought, and lovely to be able to walk straight out on a mountain hike. Thanks for us!

We enjoyed the incredibly cozy cottage in a beautiful location. The decor of the cottage is completely in style with the cottage. Perfect to unwind with the view, the space around it and the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.

It's our second time back at Jacob's cabin. We love the location and the area. There are good hiking and ski trails, as well as easy access by car to the cabin. It is a plus that electricity and bathroom are in place, with a flushable toilet and shower with good pressure. The view and the sun wall is perfect! Thanks again for having us😄 Recommended!

Nice cabin with plenty of space for more! Short distance to the blefjellheisen, where we enjoyed ourselves all day. The cabin was well equipped with what we needed the weekend we rented. We got sufficient info before and during our stay and Kristin and her husband were always available to contact if there was anything we were wondering about. We are happy to rent again!

The place was exactly as described! Clean and efficient. The location was also easy to find on google maps. Barbara was also helpful with directions if in case there were questions. She was very responsive and waited until quite late in the night for us to checkin. There is a small steam behind the cabin and it’s very beautiful. Lot of good pictures can be clicked! Proper heating is available and all kitchen amenities are provided. It was a really good experience of a nordic cabin stay!

We returned happy and enjoyed our second Christmas Eve in the charming cottage. It's really peace and quiet here. Nice with new automatic lamps in the porch and in the toilet. Drinking water in the pump outside is great. The cabin heats easily and quickly with the wood-burning stove. Nice firewood at the cabin. The kitchen has everything you need. Cozy open living room/kitchen. Warm loft. Duvets/pillows for everyone and warm woolen blankets. Lots of candlesticks, so you can enjoy the dark hours as well. Nice food storage in the cold porch. Quiet area with beautiful nature. Easy to find and easy to check in. Sindre is on top of everything. Trash dumpsters a few miles from the cabin. Pure relaxation and pampering of the soul. Presence and no disturbance.

Great place and beaut view from the terrace. Nearby crosscountry tracks, and only 10 min drive to Slottet. Trygve was always responsive on text and answered immediately. All in all a great stay!

Great cabin in a beautiful location. Absolutely recommended. Due to the short hike to the hut, it was also a little adventure for our children!

Incredibly cozy cottage in the middle of the forest, very sheltered and private. Had everything we needed for cooking equipment. Ideal for those looking for a good old-fashioned cabin trip without screens and disturbances. We turned off the cell phones and completely relaxed. Would love to come back!

Really lovely real Norwegian family log cabin. You immediately felt at home. Modern amenities and a nice place to be. Highly recommend and we would love to come again.

We checked into the house on Monday, December 23, 2024. We found a preheated, clean house even prepared with great welcome gifts. The hygiene was impeccable. Freshly made beds in which we slept very comfortably. A super clean bathroom with underfloor heating and clean towels and even with shower gel/shampoo and hand soap prepared for us. We felt very comfortable and were able to recharge our batteries well for the new year. We can definitely recommend it. The host was always available to us and also kept asking if we needed anything. Everything was simply super, therefore 10 stars from us. And again a warm thank you to our host Pete…
