What an amazing view of lake como! This was beautiful to wake up to and be greeted by the serene lake views. The place was clean and has everything you need. There was a convenient grocery store nearbybwalking distance. Strongly recommend a car as the bus was very unreliable and not running on Sunday. Arranging a taxi on a Sunday night took one hour as most drivers not available. Host's instructions were super clear and he was super helpful when needed.

We loved our stay at Casa Valeria! The description states it is “Romantic, stunning view.” I must say that that is so true, however not just the view, but everything. Like my wife told me the day we had to depart, “A stay that was perfect where there wasn’t a thing that hadn’t been thought of for our stay to be wonderful.” It truly was exceptional. And Fabio was so friendly and nice to meet. Thank you Fabio for a wonderful stay! We loved Perledo, Varenna, and the villages that we visited by ferry! Loved walking in Perledo and Varenna. Beautiful, romantic villages! We highly recommend you to use the Taxi service that Faggi Rita provides (her phone number is available in the casa). She is reasonably priced, very flexible and friendly. Our ferry was late coming into Varenna and she responded to be happy to come 30 minutes later. She was right at the pier when we arrived!

The room has a 70s Italian village vibe which puts you right into the location. Maria and her husband met us at the train station, checked us in and gave use a tour explaining the in’s and out’s of the apartment and the binder was full of useful information. The location couldn’t have been better. We had a wonderful 3 nights and only problem was we didn’t want to leave. I would recommend this stay with great enthusiasm. It was a dream come true.
