Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. For the mountain biker (possibly available), touring cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the countryside. For the hikers among us, the possibilities are endless. For the horseback riders, there is a riding school a few kilometers away. And...relax! L’Ancienne Gendarmerie is a beautiful restored police station right in the heart of the vibrant village of Pressac. On the main square opposite the church, and with lovely countryside views across the pretty river Clain and its medieval bridge, the house combines a sense of history with modern convenience and plenty of space. Perfect for families or groups of friends, there's plenty to do just staying in, but it is also a great base for exploring the beautiful Vienne and Charente.

Our place is close to the small town of Lezay, 3 minute drive, where you can find all your amenities. You'll love our place because we have alot of activities, free bikes, canoes, swimming pool, football, petanque, swings, and slides. We also have indoor activities, table football, ping pong, pool table and lots of toys and games. We are surrounded by alot of natural beauty. All our rooms are bright, clean and spacious. We do have 2 self catering gites that you can rent for larger famillies.

The former ferry house has been completely restored and converted into a vacation home for 2 people, since July 2022. Beautiful setting next to the river, l'Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The house has its own garden, and there is a private beach on the estate. The barque is ready on the river, wonderful swimming in front of the door or further on at the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.
