Jon was a fantastic host, who was always available for questions. He was very friendly and took fantastic care of us. The accommodation was in a great location, so we could enjoy the tranquility on the river. The facilities in the house left nothing to be desired. On the first day, Jon even brought us eggs, which we could then enjoy for breakfast every day. Jon also offered us the use of the canoes or fishing. All in all, the accommodation and Jon are fully recommended as a host. We would definitely come back !

We had a great time at Jeanettes cozy House next to the water. The house has everything you need and Jeanette is always helping and communicative. We enjoyed the nice view, the option of using the kayaks and had wonderful strolls trough nature. Thank you for having us :)

It was a dream of mine to visit Norway, and with Guro’s hospitality and beautiful spot by the fjord made it that much more enjoyable. The instructions to get to the plane and find the key and get in we’re crystal clear, which made the arrival anxiety free. The rooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything you needed, parking the rental was easy, the showers were amazing, getting groceries was a walk away. I could go on and on. I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Guro! You were very attentive! I wish you and your family nothing but the best!

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

We loved what the Tomas and his family had done with the outdoor space. Lots of little areas to enjoy. Cabin was tidy and ready for us to enjoy from the moment we arrived. Tomas was very responsive and helpful.

The privacy you get in this place with amazing view right on the edge of a spacious terrace is just amazing The location allows an amerce experience in the natural surroundings Picked some nice yellow chanterelle in a the marked tracks in the forest were its easy for the kids to join. And the nice canoes that you can borrow to explore the lakes close by, was a perfect addition to the activities you can do there The place inside have all you need for a comfortable stay , we were three families and everyone had a lovely time, and was able to cook together with ease as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Jon's place is out of the ordinary! We have spent a wonderful weekend in a really cool house with an exciting library you can walk hours to look out for curiosity. The place has everything you need. Good bed, good sofa and all kitchen items. It was also clean and tidy. The private garden was a plus where you could take a refreshing shower out in the open! 👌🏾 We got great hiking tips and the surrounding area is impeccable. Simply amazingly beautiful! A bathroom in the sea from a jetty just below the house we also got taken. We would be happy to come back at a later date. Jon was a really nice host who welcomed us, thank you for us! ☀️

The time we spent in this place was wonderful. On the first day, we met Jenny, who told us what to expect in the area. We encountered a moose and organized a quick walk to the lake. A very pleasant detail was the small treats left by the owner. The following days were filled with family trips around the area, boating, campfires, and visits to the nearby town. Over these few days, we managed to relax, and we left the area with reluctance.

We had an amazing few days in this cabin in August 2024. It is such a beautiful location and so peaceful. The cabin is extremely well equipped and clean. The lake was warm to swim in and easy to navigate on rowing boat and Canadian canoe. Anders was super helpful when we messaged (e.g. He has 2 canoes that can be rented). If you want a quiet holiday this is a great spot to go to!

Huge nice and cosy cabin. Ski tracks right outside the cabin - fantastic hiking area. Easy to communicate with Mette. All in all- Topper's stay at the cabin! We'll be back

Very nice stay. Helge was easily accessible and responded quickly. We sat by the fire and the house was equipped with all the comforts.

The cabin has a somewhat steep climb, but it's definitely worth it! A great house where we were allowed to spend cozy holidays! It is one hour from the port in Kristiansand. It was so warm that we did not use the sauna. But in the shower and sauna house you could shower wonderfully (warm of course ) and also do laundry. A washing machine is also provided. Toilet is a lavatory in an extra cottage. The comfort is the brilliant view:) In the house itself everything we needed was everything we needed! There is no hot water in the main house - but a pot to heat on the stove so you can wash dishes. Four of us traveled and used the beds in the house. There was also an extra 'guest house‘... with another five beds. There are two kayaks and a rowing boat on the lake. Life vests are also available. What can I say?! It was perfect for us! Thank you very much for sharing these fantastic spots of earth.

We had a wonderful weekend stay in this hytte 😍 Very cozy, by the water. Eirin and Rolf were very helpful with advices! Also helped us a lot with the ice and snow to drive out after the weekend ☺️ would definitely stay again another time !

We had the most amazing stay, Therese’s place is beautiful and right next to the lake with boats to go out on. We were worried about it being cold, but the wood burner kept us very warm and there were lots of blankets. The bed was SO comfortable with the largest pillows we’d ever seen. Fully stocked kitchen to cook (we advise this as there’s not many places to eat nearby!) Thank you for a lovely and relaxing break.

Third time at this beautiful place. It was as wonderful and magical as ever. We didn‘t want to leave. Thank you Caroline.
