At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

Our farm is located in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve in a quiet part of Sandberg on a 7,000 sqm property. The Fulda flows directly through our farm and invites children to splash and play. In 1998, the former farm was completely renovated, with a lot of love for detail. In the garden you will find sun loungers, hammocks, a barbecue corner as well as a frog pond and a children's play area with a swing and a stilt house, so there is enough space to relax and unwind.

Rhön hiking trails lead directly past the house, on adjacent meadows grazing horses and cattle in summer. Nevertheless, it is only a few minutes' walk to the train station and good restaurants and cafes in Gersfeld city center or to the Gersfeld swimming pool.

The apartment "Biberbau" is a small cozy apartment on the Niebling farm in a quiet location at the Hohe Rhön nature reserve. A recently redesigned bedroom creates a cozy break. The 140cm bed can be used for two, but is also ideal for a single stay. The apartment has a private bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a mini kitchen in the living/dining room. In the yard you can park for free and charge the electric car if necessary at the usual price.

The tiny house for unique days in the Hessian Rhön stands in the large garden next to a second tiny house. From the house and from the terrace you have an unobstructed beautiful view of the valley. The house is fully equipped. It is made up of a bathroom with shower and water toilet, kitchenette, dining table, fold-out sofa, satellite TV, Wi-Fi. A staircase leads to the cozy sleeping area.
