I was apprehensive after reading a few reviews that mentioned bug issues, but I have to say that I was relieved when I got to my room on the second floor and opened the door. It was exactly as the pictures on the sites. It was clean, open space (and mine was just a king basic), with many amenities. I had no issues with the elevator, and liked the security feature as a solo female traveler. The area had always people on the street, so I didn’t feel isolated. Matt had suggested Casa Blanca’s next door and many other restaurants that I had checked out. Starbucks is a building over and I enjoyed the rooftop balcony many times, as well as the second floor overlooking the ocean. Great gem of a place for the money! If you’re looking for something unique and nostalgic amongst all those high rise hotels, this is it! I had one moment on my first shower that the water was trickling out. I thought maybe it was clogged, and it just needed to be adjusted. All good. Thanks Matt!

Beautiful place to stay

What a pleasure to be so well received! Good tips for visits, restaurants nearby, they even called for us a taxi on the day of departure... The casa is well located, next to Parque Vidal. Full of small touches, a lollipop for our child, postcards and cigars for us... and I'm not talking about the gargantuan breakfast as Cubans like to do! Thanks again for hosting us!

If you want something far away from mass tourism, this is a perfect place. You Will be around Bahamas people with a great peace of leaving. The area is beautiful and Margaret is the person to be in touch with to organise your trip and activities (swimming pigs, kayak, rent a car, etc) :)

Great apartment. With a fantastic view of the rainforest and the sea. In the evening you can only hear the animals of the rainforest. From here you can start many great excursions. Nike is a superb host.

I would highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect. Staff showed great diligence. The facilities were spotless and organized. We enjoyed an excellent stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The rooftop and view was phenomenal. Our only disappointment is that we only stayed for one night as we were just stopping through! We will definitely be interested in staying again. Thanks for hosting us!

We cannot wait to return to south beach. Everyone had a blast and the rooftop patio is the sweetest thing in the world. Loved how close to the beach it was. We will definitely choose one of frosts locations again. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful condo. We’ll be back for sure!!!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Edgardo’s place in Manatí! The home was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family that included my grandparents who aren’t perfectly mobile. The location is excellent, with easy access to local beaches, bars and restaurants, and everything the beautiful town of Manatí has to offer. Edgardo was a wonderful host and made sure our stay was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to explore Puerto Rico away from crowds and in nature. 100/10 🌟🇵🇷

I love this place, spacious, clean, peaceful and the basics you need. Yanet was super helpul giving directions to my driver and finding the house is no problem. On arrival she was waiting outside and went with us to point out all the locations near us to buy food and other stuff. Beach is less than 4 blocks away which is not a far walk at all. 3 blocks from the 5th main street where you can find about everything including restaurants open until really late at night. The pool is amazing and the back area its in really fresh big and relaxing. Yanet does live in the far back house but you hardly see her and when you do its always good conversations with her. She makes you feel right at home and always available for anythings thats needed. Location felt really safe plus theirs a night guard thats always on duty. Defiantly marked as my favorite and saved for future stays in Guanabo. Thank you Yanet, i will be back soon.

I honestly loved the house, I loved the kitchen, it was a fully loaded kitchen and most of the food we went out and brought back and cooked. Very quiet, safe and peaceful in the sounding area, the beach not far and within walking distance. The house way better in person than in picture and very clean. Monica was very fast and very responsive and helped with everything. The house had AC in each room which was great also. She also arranged a pick up for me to and from the airport which was great also. Her helpers lived next door and were very friendly and helpful with recommended places nearby. I 100% would come back and recommend Monica’s home. Thank you again!

This guy single handedly saved our last 3 days in Cuba with his solarpanels during the nation wide blackout. (This way we manage to check in for our flights) We never planned on visiting Matanzas, but boy, Alay made it very interesting with his background in tourism. Highly recommended!

Our stay with Eugenio, Patricia and your lovely family was wonderful. It was my first place to stay with my son in Cuba and we felt very comfortable, all hosts are totally friendly, trustworthy and helpful. We were happy to get to know everyone. The place is very nice, there is a courtyard and a roof terrace. Breakfast was varied and very delicious. I can only recommend it! We will be happy to come back, five stars absolutely deserves!
