Holiday rentals with a fireplace in West Nipissing

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

This Lake Nipissing rental was very much what we were looking for to do an ice fishing outing for 6 mostly retired guys – it was almost directly in from Lonely Island (about 1.5k walk). The actual cottage is very large, and it was nice having 2 ½ baths. The kitchen is very big with a huge island that also works as a pub height dinning area and there are tons of cabinets with all of the kitchen utensils/accessories you’ll need to make great meals. There are a few rough areas, which comes from a lot of use (e.g., trim work, a few chips, dents and worn chairs, shower heads, etc.), but for a northern cottage rental I would say it would be 4 to 4.5 stars and for an ice fishing choice I must give it 5 stars. I will very much consider this location again if we decide to do another ice fishing trip to this location again in the future and if you were doing a non-winter trip, I’m sure this location would be a perfect area with boat access and placement on the water for a large family outing.

Beautiful place. Very convenient for our ice fishing weekend. Was awesome coming back to a hot tub. Very friendly people. Overall a great place to stay. Will book there again.

Brooke’s place was perfect for our wedding weekend! She was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had! Her place is big and private from neighbours! We would recommend Brooke’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to spend their holidays

Lisa and Al are such amazing hosts, we always feel so welcome and will be returning regularly. This place is literally a slice of Heaven and a must visit. 100 stars if I had the option. Thanks Lisa and Al for a wonderful weekend at your property!!

The pictures of the apartment don’t do it justice of how big and beautiful the place is. On top of being gorgeous, It is cozy and very quiet. Loved my stay and would recommend if you are staying in North Bay!

Hello Bimpe, thanks for having me stay at you're place. Just curious about you're sump pump going off quite often, not that it bothered me but I had the same issue at my last house and had to put in a battery backup pump in case of power outage or a backup generator.. I had a few floods in my basement before so...Just wondering if you have had any such incidence's? I did notice a little odor in your kitchen area and also your Dryer has a squeaking sound to it. Might want to look into that. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and hope its available again if I'm ever in the area for work in the future. Cheers
