Tent holiday rentals in Western North Carolina

We had the absolute best fall weekend at "the Kayaker." We are already planning next fall. The tent had every amenity you could want and was so cozy (I brought a stack of blankets and never needed them)! The bed was so very comfortable. The lodge was much nicer than we anticipated and I don't think I've ever seen a campground bathhouse SO nice! We loved how private our glamping tent was but how easy it was to walk everywhere else. One night it drizzled and it was just so cozy inside our tent to play a game by lamplight with the little propane heater on. The fall colors were spot on and we were nice and close to hiking and mountain biking as well as an apple orchard, Wineries, breweries and shops! Can't ask for anything more!

Such a great spot. The property is beautiful, cozy, and has great views. The glamping set up was perfect for our needs. Having a real, cozy, blanket covered bed was amazing. Tent was spacious and we felt we had everything we needed for our trip. We extra enjoyed the amazing brewery / beer stop down the road called Whistle Hop. Tent came with electricity hook up and a space heater. We camped in some freezing weather and were beyond warm and cozy. There's a cute barn cat who stopped by but our jerk dog scared him off. Bonus points to the host who came out in the cold around midnight to make sure our electricity, and our connection to the space heater, worked after the heater tripped the breAker. Host made sure we were cozy and had everything we needed, even late!

Such a wonderful location! Excellent glamping. The accommodations are very comfortable and the outdoor patio was great. We had such a nice night by the fire pit! We can not wait to return!

I can't say enough nice stuff about the host and property! Even walking through Copper Hill was a blast!

Wow! Awesome place! We stayed here for 2 nights and had the most wonderful time having a campfire under the stairs, playing board games together, exploring (beautiful) nearby waterfalls and spending the afternoon in waterfall infinity pools together. Greg is by far the best host we have ever had - he is communicative, helpful, responsive, personable and goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your time. The campsite set up had everything you could need - clearly designed by someone with lots of camping experience who knows what amenities make for the most enjoyable stay. The tent was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the shower was easy to use (and warm), and the kitchen set up was easy to navigate. Great stay where special memories were made!

Had an amazing stay at this Jupe! This is truly a remarkable find that’s value surpasses its price point. The Co-host Suzanne was more than accommodating and very friendly. This trip is definitely one for the memories bank. I would recommend this stay for anyone wanting peace and quiet as well as an adventure!

this was my second time here and I once again had a great time. i had to borrow the air pump from the Marina and I really appreciated not having to pay a fee and the Marina was more then happy to help. very friendly fellow campers in the RV at the top of the hill from the tent site. they were just as friendly and helpful during our first stay as well. honestly y'all have made us feel more then welcomed during both of our stays. my son is 8 and has special needs and can sometimes be loud or overwhelmingly friendly to strangers but never once has anyone made us feel like we were a bother and I can't tell you how appreciative I am of that. we will definitely be coming back. thank you for the hospitality of the entire Marina!

This place was well worth the money. We stayed for a short get away and wish we could have stayed longer. Very quiet and private. The creek running made for the best sleep! The pictures are exactly what you get. The shower heats up in literally seconds and was clean. The bathroom is literally 2 steps from your tent which nice. The heated blankets were perfect for a chilly Spring night. The bed was also very comfortable.

Paps Glap is amazing. Just what we needed for 4 days 3 nights of relaxation. It is actually how it is listed. The tent was set up in away that was not only clean, but comfortable. We were able to fit 2 adults and 2 dogs with no problem. The out door kitchen was perfect and i loved how he used the existing trees to make the counter. The lounge area is perfect and we even managed to get in a game of corn hole. Now my favorite, the out door bathroom. I now want a outdoor shower. Lol. And all this is nestled in a quiet, beautiful part of Lake Hartwell. Paps, you said if i had any suggestions, and the only one i have is a doggie ramp to the tent. After several trips up and down to the lake, those last 2 steps were just to much for the old lady. Thank you Paps for giving us wonderful birthday weekend. He even but a happy birthday banner in the tent for me! 2 happy Glampers Melinda and Jodie ❤️❤️🤠

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was amazingly beautiful and clean. It was so comfy and quiet, and perfectly convenient to so many attractions. Ryan was the perfect host and we hope to book with him again.

This tent is the perfect place to escape to for a relaxing weekend! It was the perfect step up from camping. It’s also the perfect place to enjoy a good thunderstorm! If it’s a cold night, it does get a little chilly, but the space heater definitely helps and the comforters were quite warm! I definitely hope to come back again!

I stayed here for three nights with my pup as part of my vacation. From the moment of booking, Jodee was communicative, friendly, helpful and patient with my questions. The Firefly was beyond perfect - it’s hard to find the right words. All I can sum it up to being is MAGICAL. What Jodee provides for amenities is above and beyond. I literally could have brought only clothes and food and would have been all set. Even the firewood and wood pellets were provided. She was very respectful of privacy and made sure I was enjoying my stay. The brook right there in front of the tent was a dream to hear. The location was private but not terribly far from stores and restaurants. I did hear a little bit of traffic in the night - tractor trailers in particular, but it didn’t take away from a good night’s sleep. I plan to make this place a yearly vacation destination. I truly didn’t want to leave. Thanks for everything, Jodee!

The location and set up of this Airbnb was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a romantic getaway where you can unplug and connect, this location is ideal. It allows for you to appreciate nature and your surroundings. We enjoyed cooking outside, gazing at the beautiful stars and lighting a fire. In addition, they have restaurants, casinos and other areas for you to enjoy if you want to escape for a little while. Be ready for a beautiful adventure, because that is what you will get.

Beautiful Property & View! Tent is amazing. A Lightening Rain Storm came through and being in the tent and getting to truly enjoy and watch the storm was an extra gift! Stayed nice and cozy inside. Thank You John for sharing your place and for your Service! Mich appreciated!

This is a very nice camping spot and we hope to visit again. We were a little confused when we first arrived because it was not clear which campsite we were assigned. A quick phone call to William cleared it up. I recommend double-checking and asking ahead of time if you are confused. The cooking area had two fixed grills, picnic tables, and hammocks with a terrific view of the sunset. The showers were nicer than I expected with plenty of hot water, soap, and shampoo. The first night we were greeted by a kind Vietnam vet who ensured everything was in working order and made hiking recommendations. Overall a top-notch experience.

Everything was great! We got in later and it was such a nice feeling knowing our tent was set up when we arrived. The place was beautiful and clean. Gerard gave tips on local hikes and check up on us. We cannot wait to go again!

Elizabeth’s place at The Birds Nest was exactly as described. Easy walk from the parking and was exactly as described. Would stay there again!

Farmer Sprout was extremely accommodating! We had a 7hr drive and came in almost 11hrs late and it was not a problem at all. We loved the space and she has a beautiful farm. We were in and out because we had a very busy itinerary for the weekend and it was nice to come back to our little spot and know it was only us there, very homey. This was my favorite Air BnB so far and we will definitely be coming again as there is soooo much do do in the area, lots of cool shops and hiking trails within a half hour or so. I would highly recommend this site to anyone.

Highly recommend this place to anyone! This experience will be remembered for years to come for our family. Ivy was super responsive and the tent decor was beautiful and warm. We will definitely be coming back.
