Bungalow holiday rentals in Whangamatā

This was our second stay here - we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility with stunning views. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very well equipped and very spacious. The hosts are kind and gracious and we highly recommend a stay at Hydrangea Cottage. Thank you Noel and Janet for providing this little piece of paradise for others to enjoy!

Staff were super friendly, house was big enough to fit all of us (10 adults, 6 children), the place itself is beautiful in the bush, heaps to do with the walks at the campground and water holes, also the walks up the road through the Kami’s was amazing. Only downfalls were pool closed pretty early and the fridge isn’t really that big enough to hold food for 16 people but we made it work. Other than that our stay was perfect.

A great spot for a stay in beautiful Mt Maunganui… great beach access and a cool cafe over the road for a nice ce brunch/lunch option.

Jane is a lovely friendly host and I must add, also very humble. The setting of the bnb is so beautiful with lovely orchards all around. We loved the convenience of the local town just a short drive away. We enjoyed the extensive kitchen setting she's managed to include in the little space. Thanks, Jane for hosting us.

We had a wonderful stay at Lorraine and John’s Airbnb. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. What really stood out to us, though, was the thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Great location as well.

Lovely quirky kiwi bach! Great location. Easy (toddler friendly) walking distance to great coffee, beach and shops. Super family friendly. Clean and tidy. Full cooking facilities to make meals for the family or kids. As our 2yo said “I love this house”! Cup full, core memories created! Forever grateful.

Amazing option right in the heart of Whitianga. The interior design of this place could be easily found in a magazine with everything you would need for a joyful stay. From a comfortable bed to a kitchen that motivates you to cook something special for dinner. Totally recommended!

After each day exploring the sights of Coromandel peninsula, it was lovely returning to Karen’s centrally located bnb and only having a few metres to various dining options. The bnb was spotless, well presented and roomy, and had a very comfortable bed. The spa was a bonus after a day hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect for us. Get escape away from people and just super relaxing watching the ocean views. The Bach is the typical kiwi bach very easy to feel at home. We will definitely stay again if we can.
