Captain Claude Brown built the Angler's Retreat cabin to house his fishing party guests. Now thoughtfully renovated, it can accommodate small groups in the sleepy fishing village of Marshallberg, NC. The large main bedroom has a queen bed, designated workplace, and bathroom with a soaking tub—a small bedroom houses twin bunk beds and a stacked washer/dryer. Enjoy an open kitchen/dining area and comfortable living room. The location is great for fishing, watersports, biking, and dog walking.

Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset.
