Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

Your flat in our half-timbered house is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, Kraichgau or to Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Our farmhouse is located north of the "Black Forest Nature Park". Nature invites you to cycle, hike and discover: orchards, forests, meadow valleys and high moors, gorges, streams & lakes! And vineyards. But you can also relax in our garden and enjoy local wine or craft beer. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat, turtles and sheep (not always on premise).

Cozy apartment in Alsace

The motto for our farm is "slow down." We, that is Andrea and Tom, have realized the dream of "living with the animals" in beautiful Alsace. We have our ponies Coquine and Cerise, our cats Milow and Söckchen, our two dogs Maya and Lotte, as well as our flock of chickens with the rooster Fritz. In summer, "our" swallows delight us with their chirping. Here you can experience nature and regional culture at any time of year. In no time, you switch over to relaxation.

The workshop

Located in a small Alsatian village at an altitude of 350 m, in the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Park. Independent accommodation is located in a renovated old farmhouse. It includes a terrace, kitchen, living room with a bed (single bed), bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet), and a bedroom containing (1 double bed and 1 single bed). Wi-Fi access. Our barrier-free "holiday home with a dream view" of the Rhine plain is located on a 950 square meter fenced hillside property at an altitude of 300 meters. It is located on the eastern edge of the Unesco Biosphere Reserve Palatinate Forest - Nord Vosges on the Haardt der Südliche Weinstraße. You can also book our "Ferienhaus im Kastanienwald" in Burrweiler am Teufelsberg and our "Grünes Feriendomizil" in Landau/Pfalz on this portal.

The studio is located in Altenstadt (Wissemburg), above the garage adjoining the house, with a separate entrance. It is perfect for couples (with a 1.60 m bed) and solo travelers. It offers the possibility of cooking (two hobs, a refrigerator, a toaster, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a mini oven, a microwave...) You will appreciate the tranquility of the place, the large garden, the sunrise...

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a detached modern house. Free, safe parking in the cul-de-sac. S-Bahn stop and service center, Netto market with bakery, pizzeria and pharmacy is only about 150 m away. The quiet, direct forest location is an ideal starting point for jogging or cycling through the Hardtwald, the green lung of Karlsruhe. A lockable bicycle room can be provided on request.
