Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Youghiogheny River

From booking to checkout, everything about our stay was perfect!! I made changes to our arrangements shortly after booking and David was quick to respond and very helpful. Upon arrival, easy entry into the house, and everything was very clean and just as pictured. This location is exactly what we hoped for our weekend!! Peaceful, quiet, clean, and relaxing! I would highly recommend this location and look forward to renting here again. I can't thank you enough for helping to our New Year's weekend getaway so memorable!!

Enjoyed our stay here! Kitchen had everything we needed and worked well. Really enjoyed the vintage video game system, and a nice selection of games and books for smaller kids. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. Everything just worked well and felt easy and let us concentrate on family and vacation time.

My family loves the place. It was super close to the ski resort and close to where the rest of our family and their lodging. It was super clean, and private. They even plowed the snow to help us get out. We definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in or around 7 springs or hidden valley ski resorts!

This place is beautiful and very spacious! We went with a group of 7 and everyone loved it. When we had any questions the host was very quick to respond and very kind. They jumped right in to help us with whatever we needed. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again!

Perfect ski-in ski-out on down under trail. Not a good ski in ski out for beginners. Beautiful views from all the decks. Functional well stocked kitchen. Great place for fuzzy friends. Solid gates around the kitchen. Very steep steps to loft bedroom.

We booked Shannon's place for a bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! Immediately after booking, Shannon provided a long list of local restaurants, bars, and activities which made it extremely easy to set up our itinerary for the weekend. All weekend the girls kept making comments about how nice the home was kept and how well it accommodated the group that went. It was super close (about 5 to 10 minutes) from most of the activities we chose to do and the hot tub was essential for the March weather we had. If we return to the Deep Creek area, we will definitely consider booking this place again!

Melissa is a great, responsive host. She gave me all the info I needed and was quick to help. The house was clean when we got there and checking in was easy.

We absolutely loved staying at River Rest! The apartment is spotless, clean and not cluttered but has everything you need for your stay! Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and clean bedding! Living room is also comfortable! The kitchen has 2 coffee machines, full refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and hot plate. We felt like we were home! Randall’s Restaurant is 3 minutes away with fantastic homemade meals and great pies! Try the peanut butter chocolate you won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much for having us and I promise we will be back!

Jess went above and beyond as a host and provided suggestions throughout the weekend. We felt like locals! The cabin was so cozy for a friends/couples weekend. The game room was a bonus surprise and so fun for a group! The hot tub was extremely clean and so relaxing after a day of hiking. We all can’t wait to return. The cabin is a GEM! took our 3 dogs over the weekend if you stay in the winter be prepared to chop some some wood and light the fire place there is a park within 5 mins drive from the place while you can walk there, it would be the only easy place to get to be foot the nearest grocery store 20 mins drive in Sommerset so plan ahead

My wife and I have been to Deep Creek many times before but I wanted to surprise her with a 2 night stay away for her break from her job and I came across Michelle’s place! The place was amazing! It was perfect for a couple. We relaxed and enjoyed the lower deck with some wine and music. The hot tub was awesome as well. Everything was very clean and it was easy to check in/check out. Michelle was very responsive and gave easy directions to follow. We will for sure be staying here again! Thank you for a great stay Michelle!

The cabin, which is surprisingly spacious, is situated in a very quiet, private, and peaceful spot. Lynne is very proactive in communicating with guests, quick to respond, and just simply wants to make sure the guests are satisfied with all aspects of their stay. We saw diverse wildlife during our short stay on the property. The cabin is set up perfectly with everything you need, and nothing you don’t.

Kia's place is just as good as the pictures! The cabin is so cozy and comfortable with lots of space in the kitchen and living room. Wifi was great, too. We wanted a quick getaway for the weekend coming from Pittsburgh and it took about an hour to get here and is right by Chalk Hill, Nemacolin, and Fort Necessity, so there were a lot of places to explore or pick up some extras that we forgot. It turned out to be a cold and rainy weekend so we stayed in and stayed warm by the fire. We picked up some awesome smoked ribs at the Chalk Hill market and got some adult beverages from the "Beer Necessities" store down the road. We can't wait to go again in the fall to see the leaves change and hopefully some better weather to get out and hike. Thanks for having us Kia!
