We love our little waterfront retreat. Here, a holiday atmosphere prevails year-round with views of the water with boats, kayaks, SUP and bathers in summer and winter. For us, it is the perfect recreational oasis in the city with the most beautiful nature right outside the door, and easy access to the water via the swimming bridge. At the same time, there is plenty of city life on Aarhus Island with theater, cafes, restaurants, shopping and water sports just around the corner. The apartment is on 2 floors with a private entrance and views of the bay and Ris Skoven.

A beautiful view of the sea towards Djursland and Riis Skov. In the first row and with a clear view of the sea, and you often see training/yacht racing in the sea area just outside. There are quite a few meters to a refreshing sea bath at the bathing bridge in front of Lighthouse. The home has a modern look with walls in raw concrete and contains a toilet, kitchen and dining area on the lower level. On the first floor, there is a bathroom, a sleeping area with a double bed, and a sofa bed in the living room - which can be used for 2 people.

Welcome to a lovely two-room apartment in a charming older townhouse - centrally located in Frederiksbjerg. There are cafes and shops just around the corner, and 10 minutes to the train station. The apartment consists of a bright south-facing kitchen-living room, dining area and sofa corner. Record players and games can be borrowed as long as they are taken good care of! If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
